I saw Changeling at the cinema last week and I was blown away. It had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Angelina Jolie's performance was absolutely stunning.I was slightly dissapointed at the ending though but I think the film's brilliance compensated for that. I think it has to be my favourite film ever now and I would strongly reccomend you to go out and see it if you havent yet I also watched "P.S I Love You" today for the first time and I was in pieces watching it.It is the single most saddest film after The Titanic I have ever seen. I couldnt believe I hadnt seen it after I watched it because everyone has seen it ages ago.My favourite actress Hilary Swank was brilliant again in it.She never fails to dissapoint me in a movie. Now I have to download the movie and make a very sad music video of Gerry and Holly

Yeah I dont care much how he reacted to Aden and Belle either because I agree with you 100% that they did bring it on themselves. Angelo made some bad decisions namely by switching the soil sample.Now he has gotten himself in far to deep with all teh developers story and now everything with Jack. His problem stemmed from Belle again because she accused him of assault and he agreed to switch the soil samples to get the cops off his back. I feel sorry for him in that sense because things seem to have spiralled out of control and he has no control over naything. I hope he comes through the other side although I cant see him getting past the law after which is a shame because I think hes a great character. Angelo is so interesting and very complex which at the end of the day makes a very good and watchable character. I think Angelo is doomed though!!

I thought it was good when Donna came to see Marlon and Zack gave her a telling off and the rest of the Dingle's told her that they didnt wnat anything more to do with her. I would think she will I loved Marlon and Donna and I think the writers messed up Donna's character big time by having her have an affair with Ross in the first place. Now what will become of the murder of Shane ?? I think I read a while back that .Not to sure though so dont hold me to it. Yeah but Roxy got the picture after the whole frozen lake thing which I thought was incredibly especially the look Sean had in his eyes when Roxy told him "no" and I think he realised what he had done as well which is why he nodded as if to say ok. I think you hit the nail on the head here. It's all about whether you like them/it or not. Sometimes I feel like we're all watching different shows. The people who posted above me couldn't see the blackmailing Red Ranger accused him of, while I can see it perfectly. Belle was vulnerable and confused and Aden took advantage of that. She wasn't sure what to do; she needed Angelo for the investegation of the development site, but at the same time, she loved another man. She walks into her room and Aden practically ambushes her with the "You know you feel the same way. You know this is right". Of course she isn't going to turn him down when he puts it like that. If he'd said "I think you feel the same way. I think this is right" it would have another situation completely. When a person is already confused about her feelings towards a person, if this person then shows up and in a very clever way convinces her that he's the one for her, then she's going to agree, failing to see what he's doing to her. I call that emotional blackmail I can see it to valli actually. Emotional blackmail can happen without Belle actually knowing it is happening . Aden took advantage of her state of mind at the time when she was in a very confused and vulnerable state when all the stuff was going on with the development site.he even kissed her the night in the car when she was clearly distressed about the whole development thing. Whenever Belle was confused Aden always just said " this is right" and stuff like "you and me are meant to be" That is EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL

Not 'everyone' forgives Aden. Read through the thread and you will realise that. And while you are at it theres a nice paragraph on generalizing Skykat put up recently, you should consider reading that as well. Maybe I should have phrased that better. It was late at night and I was tired. I didn't mean everyone as in fans, I meant Roman, Irene etc. It's like it was all ok what Aden did after his abuse was explained. But Angelo gets cleared of the assault charge and they're still treating him like that bad guy. I wouldn't hold my breath for an apology if I were him. Couldn't have said it better myself HM. And yes, someone should have taken that gun off him. I can see he's going to get run out of town now. You know what valli I couldnt have said it better myself. You described Angelo to an absolute tee and I know how you mean about being hated because he acted like any other human being would in his situation.He was hardly going to go and have tea and biscuits with Aden and Belle no he was going to be angry and express his anger.The worst part is that Angelo was treated like the one in the wrong when he outed Aden and Belle's affair by the whole town which was completely unfair. I like him as a character like you said that he is not one sided and he is a very complex character.I would be very sad to see him go

Yes people usually make mistakes and learn from them but Belle must be a bit "challenged " because she makes the same mistakes time after time which is so pathetic!! She needs to grow up seriously and mature!!

Yeah exactly he was the nicest guy to Belle and she just threw it all back in his face by cheating on him. He is cocky in a funny and cute way I think as well and isnt arrogant and selfish.His cockyness is so cute and I think he is the nicest guy.He was even willing to die for Belle when the hitman came in with the gun he protected her by putting his arms around her.It takes a certain kind of guy to die for a girl who cheated on him and treated him like crap.I think he is such a nice guy and hope that he doesnt get sent down because he is definitely one of my faves

I try to like Belle but she just makes it hard for me because when I start to like her she goes and does something stupid AGAIN. I was really liking her when she spent some time being sngle after she broke up with Drew and was liking her whenshe and Aden got together but then she had to go and break up with Aden and cheat on Angelo who I have warmed to. She was unfair to Angelo after they broke up and even reporting him to the cops for harassment.He was allowed to be hurt and angry but she went ahead anyway. Then when he said "if you or Aden cause me any more trouble I swear Ill make you wish you had never laid eyes on me" she responded by saying she already did wish shed never laid eyes on him.The person who did the hurting doesnt have the right to say that.He never done anything to her at that point only look after her and she says she wishes she never laid eyes on him!! She also accused Angelo of being "completely unfair" when he was using his position against Aden regarding Aden's bail conditions.Is this girl for real accusing him of being unfair!! As Angelo says "you are so self righteous it makes me sick"

I agree with you Sexyluc. This is a character discussion thread not an appreciation thread so it’s perfectly reasonable to discuss Belle’s less desirable traits in the same way is ok for people to focus on her more positive aspects if they wish. Just one point in regards to Martha though. Didn’t she sleep with Ash when she was still married to Jack? As I’ve said many times before (broken record) it didn’t really bother me her cheating on Angelo, it was the fact that she used him to assist her mission to expose the council. Oh she did sleep with Ash but her and Jack had been separated for ages and there was no going back at the time.It was only after she had slept with Ash that Jack said he wanted to give their marriage another go Yeah it wasnt nice of Belle to be using Angelo for the purpose of her investigation but in fairness to her she wasnt doing it for her own selfish reasons,she was only doing it for the health and safety of the town. I think she really shouldnt have went out with Angelo in the first place to be honest because it was crystal clear she was on the rebound. Obviously i shouldnt have said anything negative about the precious Belle And as somebody mentioned about Martha sleeping around "plenty of times" she may have slept around plenty of times but she didnt sleep with anyone while she was meant to be with someone else like somebody else I know. Aww no I love them both!! Kirsty doesnt necessarily think of herself all the time ,she thinks about her little son and her husband all the time actually. She is allowed to whine all the time because she has a lot to whine about in fairness to her. It IS hard being a single mother whose husband is in prison and trying to afford Kane's appeal at the same time!! I actually like Miles and Kirsty together they work very well just not as much as Kirsty and Kane do though
