Extended Summary

Remi and Sonny arrive back at the surf club after their time attending gigs. They are eager to sign someone. They bump into Dana and Remi goes on ahead to Salt. Sonny says he got back last night  but wanted to give Dana, Harper and Archie some space. Dana confirms it went well. Up in Salt, Remi greets Eden and asks how things are going with her and Cash. Eden says he can’t have the house back and Remi says he’s happy with his studio. He invites her to join them for lunch. Dana and Sonny join them and reveal they’ve found the next big thing.

At the Morgan house, Leah is on the phone to the Coastal News, insisting that they need to reprint the story with the correct information, saying Lacey Miller isn’t a hero and that isn’t even her name. She just gets hung up on. In the park, Alf tells David that Leah is trying to work out how to live without Theo. David says Lacey is too and wonders if he should talk to Leah. Alf thinks all he can do is get Lacey to keep her distance. David is worried Leah will turn up again. Alf says Leah won’t listen to anyone, not even Justin. He sees Justin and calls him over.

Remi and Sonny explain to Eden and Dana about Eddie Shepherd, a guy who stepped in at a pub after the original act cancelled, after which they spoke to him. Eden advises them to look into him first. Remi decides to call him for a chat. While Sonny is getting the pizza, Remi invites Eden to check out the studio this afternoon. Dana drily thanks him for the invite but says she’s busy. Sonny comes back with the article and says he has to go. At the Diner, Justin tells David they need to give Leah some space. David doesn’t think that will work and that Leah’s getting worse. He gives up and leaves to get back to Lacey. Alf suggests Justin wouldn’t be happy if someone had a go at Leah.

Leah is back on the phone and is told the editor’s not available to talk to her. She leaves a message telling them to fact check. Sonny arrives to check on her. Leah says it’s all lies and they’re refusing to fix it. Meanwhile, Remi and Eden turn up at the studio. Eden notes the dart board and the memorial to Theo, which Remi explains is something Justin said and a way of having him as part of it.

Leah is making some hot drinks and Sonny takes over. Leah admits she basically told Justin not to come home and wishes she could stop being horrible to people. Sonny suggests playing a video game. Leah says she wishes she’d played with Theo more often. Sonny says she can play with him. Meanwhile, Justin turns up at the beach house. David isn’t too happy to see him there and says he talked to Lacey about an AVO and it’s only not going ahead because Lacey refused, while she might change her mind. He says he appreciates Justin and Leah’s friendship but he has to protect his daughter.

Leah and Sonny are playing the video game when Justin gets back. Justin is surprised and Sonny leaves. Justin says he’d have played a video game with Leah if she wanted. Leah says it was Theo’s idea. Justin checks she meant Sonny, explaining what she just said. Leah, somewhat flatly, says that was stupid and walks out. Meanwhile, Sonny joins Eden and Remi at the studio. Remi says he’s called Eddie and arranged a meeting tomorrow. Sonny says he can’t bring Eddie there because the place is half-finished. He suggests chartering a boat to take him out and invites Eden along too.

Justin and Leah walk through a park area on the way to the Diner. Justin wonders if he should be worried. Leah says it was an accident and it was nice to spend time with one of Theo’s friends and get out of her head. She apologises for accusing him and Alf of ganging up on her. Justin accepts it and they walk on. Next morning, Alf checks Marilyn is okay working at the coffee cart. Marilyn says she’s had a rest and Leah has arranged some cover. Alf is surprised Marilyn’s spoken to her. Sonny and Dana approach, chatting about meeting Eddie. Sonny gets a call which turns out to be from Leah and says he’ll swing by there on the way to the studio. Justin arrives and hears the others discussing it.

Remi and Eden are waiting outside the studio. Eddie turns up in a chauffeur driven car. Remi introduces him to Eden, who evasively says she’s happy to call the label her home. Eddie says he was a big fan of Lyrik. He wants to see the studio but Remi says Sonny has organised a big day for them. He texts Sonny wondering where he is.

Leah is telling Sonny that the editor called her back and they’re standing by the article. Sonny asks what she wants him to do, saying you can’t change people’s minds. Leah says she’ll go down there in person and make them listen. While she’s out of the room, Sonny anwers a call from Remi and says to keep Eddie talking and he’s on the way. Leah returns as Justin arrives. He tries to talk Leah out of going but she simply says she knew he wouldn’t understand and walks out. Sonny tries to go too but Justin stops him and asks what he’s doing there.
