Extended Summary

Alf is unimpressed to find the surf club full of clothes racks. Nikau hastily introduces him and Sienna to each other and Sienna explains the shoot was put together in a hurry, offering a donation to the surf club. Alf says he’ll get her the bank details. Allegra has been watching the exchange with amusement. Meanwhile, Emmett and Bella are setting things up on the beach. Bella admits she was hoping she and Nikau could spend time alone together. Emmett says he suggested the shoot because Bella said the place was beautiful, and sometimes talent requires sacrifices. Nikau comes down and tells Bella he’ll try and wrap early but Bella says they should do it properly. Nikau gets a text from Sienna summoning him back.

Leah finds Justin working out at the gym; she has just finished boot camp and is impressed with his progress, saying cutting back on the painkillers has worked. She gets a text and is disappointed that it’s only Irene discussing next week’s rosters. Justin advises her to be patient to hear back from Stephen and reminds her that she’s helping Tori pick out her dress. He says he’ll do another round. Meanwhile, Nikau returns to the surf club and apologises to Sienna for disappearing, saying he needed to talk to Bella. Sienna notes Bella’s lucky to work with Emmett, then cuts short Nikau’s complaint about his plans being spoiled, saying he needs to go and get dressed. She asks a watching Allegra if she wants to say something and Allegra declines.

Ryder and Chloe arrive back at the Diner and tell Marilyn and Roo that the banks barely listened to their business plan before saying no. Marilyn protests that they have a dream and she’d lend them the money. Roo starts to say it doesn’t work like that in the real world but Ryder and Chloe say they don’t need another lecture about kids today and they’ll sort it out themselves. Later, Chloe is suggesting getting bar work but Ryder says they need money now and considers selling his car. Roo and Marilyn are shocked. Chloe says her mum put her onto a budget app and if they need to sit home and eat lentils every night they will.

Allegra is being dressed in a slit white dress while Nikau has put on a white suit. Sienna senses he’d rather be somewhere else and he says he’d have liked some warning. Sienna says they’ve put their lives on hold to establish his brand and Nikau assures her he wants it. Allegra tells him she’s got his back. Later, they have decamped to the beach. Emmett calls the shots, with Bella helping with lighting, and Allegra tries to get Nikau to focus. Emmett gets Nikau to relax a bit with a joke but Bella clearly isn’t keen on seeing him with Allegra, which Sienna notices. Sienna declines Bella’s offer of help and instead directs them herself to show sparks and chemistry. Nikau seems uncomfortable doing it with Bella there. Sienna sends her to the Diner to get lunch and coffees.

Justin is retrieving his secret pills stash but quickly hides them under the bed covers and replaces the drawer when Leah calls out. She says she heard from Stephen but there’s nothing new. After she’s gone to put the lunch out, Justin retrieves the pills and takes one before returning them to the hiding place. Leah then gives him his regular dose which he has as well. At the Diner, Bella chats to Ryder and Chloe about Allegra, saying she likes her but it’s just a work thing between her and Nikau. Ryder and Chloe explain about being turned down by the bank. Ryder thinks they’ll die of old age trying to save the money up.

Emmett is photographing Allegra and Nikau running along the beach together, with Sienna calling out encouragement. Nikau asks Emmett about Bella doing the lunch run and Emmett assures him she won’t miss out. Sienna tells a seemingly reluctant Allegra that she doesn’t just want a fashion shoot, she wants sexy. Back at the Diner, Marilyn gives Bella the order before quizzing Ryder and Chloe about their progress. Ryder says they’re considering selling organs and Roo suggests getting other jobs won’t give them time to work on the business. Ryder moans that someone else could set up a food truck in the meantime. Chloe snaps that they should just sell the food truck and pay back Ziggy if he’s going to be negative but Ryder assures her he wants to work with her.

Nikau and Allegra are now in beach wear, messing about in the water while Emmett photographs. Allegra gets Nikau to lift her up, which he seems comfortable doing until he sees Bella come back. He steps aside with her and checks she’s all right. Sienna calls them both over to look at the shots. Meanwhile, Justin is lying on the couch as Leah returns, having got Marilyn to cover for her at work. She says she’s going to hire a private investigator to find Susie. Justin protests that that’s expensive and Leah considers setting up a crowdfunding page. Justin suggests asking Stephen but Leah wants to see what she turns up first.

Emmett is showing Bella the photos at the surf club with Bella noting he and Allegra look good together. Emmett says they have to get to the other side of the bay. Nearby, Roo has been chatting to Alf about Ryder possibly selling the car and has a proposal. Soon after, they meet Ryder and Chloe at Salt and ask them if they’re interested in having investors: They and Marilyn will put up the money as a business loan. The youngsters readily agree.

On the pier, Nikau and Allegra are now dressed up in fancy black outfits. Emmett asks Bella’s advice on the lens before Sienna sends Bella to get her a coffee. Sienna then takes Allegra aside and says to kiss Nikau when she gives the signal. At the Diner, Ryder and Chloe thank Marilyn for her help, presenting her with flowers from the garden. Ryder checks she knows they’re selling meat and offers her a lifetime supply of tacos and vegan nachos. Bella congratulates them and Ryder asks about seeing Nikau in action. He notes Allegra’s hot, before quickly adding that Bella’s hotter plus Nikau worships the ground she walks on.

Outside, Emmett is photographing the pair. Sienna tells him to get ready, which he doesn’t understand, then signals Allegra to kiss Nikau, which she does, just as Bella arrives with Ryder and Chloe. Nikau pulls away and Bella hands the coffee to Ryder and runs off. Sienna says they’re not finished but Nikau says they are and runs after Bella.
