Extended Summary

Colby and Dean run into each other on the beach. Colby asks if Dean has heard anything from Holsten. Dean says he hasn’t but Colby’s been looking for Bella for six years so he can’t expect Ray to find anything in a few days. Colby isn’t optimistic but Dean says he has a good feeling about it. At the Morgan house, Tori has just got up and admits to Mason that she didn’t get much sleep and is going to catch up before Raffy gets home. Mason is on his way to his surgical and clinical care exam but finds Robbo sat outside. Tori asks if he slept there and Robbo says he didn’t sleep, before casually putting the kettle on and asking Mason to open up for him. Bewildered, Mason checks with Tori and then agrees.

Leah finds Chelsea waiting outside the unopened gym. Alf tells them about Robbo getting him to close up. Mason arrives and Alf gives him Robbo’s keys. He lets Leah and Chelsea in and he and Leah discuss Tori’s pregnancy. Leah asks if anything else has happened and Mason says not with the pregnancy. He goes into the office and finds the photo of Sophie and Luca on the desk, calling Tori to tell her. Tori rejoins Robbo who asks her what she’s intending to do. Tori says she’ll just relax and catch up on sleep. Robbo agrees it’s a good idea to stay home. Tori mentions the photo, asking if that’s why he was sat outside. Robbo says he was just worried about her and leaves.

Leah and Chelsea are discussing wedding preparations. Robbo comes in and Leah goes to join him, congratulating him on the pregnancy. Robbo gives Mason permission to leave for his exam. He goes into the office and pins the photo back up on the board, before having a long look at it. At the Diner, Dean is working his way through a large breakfast that Colby paid for. Both Colby and a newly arrived Chelsea help themselves to some of it. Chelsea tells Colby they need to make decisions about the wedding. Colby says he’s happy with whatever she decides. Dean jokingly asks Colby what flowers they’re going to have so Colby and Chelsea decide to do it at home. After they’ve gone, Dean gets a call from Ray.

Dean meets with Ray near the beach. Ray says he found an old guy in Mangrove River who says he saw Ross there five years ago, after the accident and while Dean was in jail. He says Ross was going in to Karen’s house. Later, in a park area, Dean recalls Karen once saying Ross was no good but that was all. Ray asks how well Karen knew Colby’s mother Michelle. Dean thinks they just knew each other a bit when he and Colby were friends. Ray produces school records showing Karen, Michelle and Ross were all at school together and apparently Karen and Michelle were once best friends but fell out when they met Ross. He has been trying to visit Karen at the hospital but isn’t allowed so thinks Dean might have better luck.

Leah and Tori meet up at the Diner. Leah congratulates her and says Robbo was thrilled when she saw him earlier. Tori says things have got complicated. They head outside where Tori explains that Robbo seemed to be guarding the house. Leah isn’t concerned: The pregnancy’s bound to bring out Robbo’s protective streak and he just needs time. Tori gets a call from the hospital and says she’ll be right there.

Colby and Chelsea emerge from the bedroom, with Chelsea saying now they’ve got that out of the way they can get on with wedding planning. She tries to get Colby to pick a wedding invite but finds his choice ugly. She suggests doing a checklist with a “reward” for anything they get done. Dean turns up; Colby hopes he’s going to get him out of it but Dean says he’s just there to watch him get tortured. Meanwhile, Robbo tries to call Tori but she is at work, resuscitating a patient, and doesn’t notice the call. Robbo tries to busy himself with work but soon tries to call again, getting through to voicemail and telling Tori to call him.

Robbo goes to the Morgan house, where he knocks on the door, looks through the window and calls out for Tori. When he doesn’t get a response, he breaks in. A short time later, Mason is brushing up the glass while Robbo sits in silence. Tori comes home and wonders what’s going on. Mason says to ask Robbo and leaves them to it. Robbo says he did it because she didn’t answer his call. Tori is shocked to realise he broke in. In an unnervingly calm manner at odds with Tori’s mood, Robbo says he’ll pay for the damage and he’d do it again to make sure she and the baby were all right. Tori says he’s scaring her and it’s too much.

Colby asks Dean to help and Dean offers ideas for the bucks party: Beach, fire, keg, live entertainment and strippers. Chelsea suggests a fishing trip or bush walk as alternatives. Dean says he’s going to go and phone about the strippers. Colby tells Chelsea he’s joking…probably. Dean goes out onto the wharf and rings the hospital about visiting Karen but his efforts are obviously stonewalled and he gives up.

Tori and Robbo are down on the beach. Tori says Robbo can’t be like this and wonders if the photo triggered it. Robbo admits that looking at it caused things to come flooding back and says he had a feeling something was wrong. Tori points out the feeling was wrong and says the baby should be born into happiness, not fear. Back at the flat, Colby tries to convince Chelsea they should serve pizza at the wedding. He asks Dean if he’s heard anything from Ray and Dean says he hasn’t. Robbo comes home and says a few things have happened but the important thing is he’s going to be a dad. Dean assumes he means Jasmine’s pregnant and Colby says he’ll explain later. Dean’s phone rings; Chelsea picks it up, asking if it’s the strippers, but Dean snatches it off her.

Dean chats to Ray on the phone outside, saying they should both keep trying. He turns round to find Chelsea there: She realises Holsten has a lead. Dean admits it’s true but says he doesn’t want to get Colby’s hopes up with a lead that goes nowhere and tells her to drop it.
