Extended Summary
Brody has arranged to meet Felicity in the hope that she will sell Salt back to him. As Ziggy checks in with him, a steaming Justin arrives to meet Brody, with Willow trailing after him, post-fight. Justin doesn’t want to hear Willow out, and goes in with Brody to meet Felicity. The boys think they’ve made a good case for Felicity to sell back to them, but are floored when she asks twice what she paid them. She’s realised how much Brody wants Salt back, and takes full advantage. When Justin tries to persuade her to drop the price, she whacks another fifty grand on top. Brody’s upset, and Justin wants to fix it, saying he’ll go and talk to Tori about trying again for the bank loan. Willow asks Brody how the meeting went. When he explains, she asks whether the books support the price hike. When he doesn’t know, she takes him in hand, telling him to get the records from Felicity, while she does some research on Felicity’s business holdings. They realise that Felicity’s been cooking the books, and threaten to tell Felicity’s umbrella company board about it if she doesn’t sell Salt back to Brody at what she bought it for. Felicity has no choice but to agree. When Justin finds out that Willow helped Brody, he goes and thanks her. He tells her that he likes her, but that he doesn’t want to have secrets any more – he’s had more than his fair share. Willow thinks she can live with that, and things turn flirty. Looks like they’ve made up after their fight…
Tori comforts Kat, as she struggles to reconcile the Robbo she knows and loves with him being a trained killer before he had amnesia. Kat worries about her future, unsure about continuing to live in the apartment that she shared with Robbo, and nervous about being a single mum. Tori’s feeling torn and guilty about knowing where Robbo is. The police are hunting him, and she’s got Kat staying in case Robbo comes after her – should she just reveal that she knows his location? Tori goes to the police station with the address, but after hearing the detectives talking harshly about Robbo, she decides not to turn the address over. Tori confides to Justin that she knows where Robbo is, and Justin is flummoxed that she hasn’t reported it to the police. He can’t believe she’d hide that and immediately wants to turn Robbo in, but Tori asks Justin to trust her judgement, and keep it to himself.
Coco’s done a green audit of the Diner and has lots of ideas on how they can improve their environmental impact. Ryder’s full of enthusiasm for any cause she’s championing, but Roo notices he’s really only interested in Coco. Ziggy tells Coco that she thinks Ryder likes her, but although she’d secretly like that to be true, Coco can’t bring herself to believe it. Ziggy herself can’t wait to hear back from Brody, and ignores texts from Jarrod. After some persuasion from Roo, Alf talks to Ryder about Coco, advising him to go the old fashioned way and say it with flowers. Ryder has an idea and goes over to give Coco a bunch of recycled paper ‘flowers’. He’s awkward and leaves before Coco can say anything, but as she turns to a smug Ziggy, Coco can’t help smiling – Ryder likes her!
