Extended Summary
Phoebe arrives home, stunned to find the house in disarray. Billie explains that VJ held a party which got out of control, ending with Jordan punching Hunter. Phoebe tells VJ he’s no longer welcome to live there, and to VJ’s disappointment, Billie backs her up. With Hunter refusing to explain his actions, Zac can do nothing more than apologise and take the teens home. When they arrive, Leah’s initially annoyed, but seeing VJ’s home again, quickly calms down. VJ remains sullen, reminding her it wasn’t his choice. Zac relays that Billie kicked him out, although Leah’s not too upset about that.
When John brings a subdued Jordan home after the party, Marilyn’s bemused by John’s reluctance to discipline him. The next morning, she orders John to sort it out while she’s at work. John’s still feeling uncertain about his parenting abilities (post-Skye) when Marilyn leaves him to speak to Jordan alone, but he forges ahead and quickly finds out that Hunter started the fight, not Jordan.
The next morning, Billie apologises to Phoebe for the party, but with the house clean again, Phoebe’s totally understanding. Billie feels bad for chucking VJ out, and Phoebe tries to look on the bright side. They both agree it’s best he doesn’t live with them, Billie just hopes VJ won’t be too angry with her. But it’s clear from VJ’s rudeness as Leah tries her best to welcome him home, that he’s still upset. Fed-up, Leah and Zac demand he show them a little more respect.
At the Pier Diner, Hunter comes in for breakfast and he ignores Chris’ jokes about his bruises but when Olivia expresses her concern over his behaviour, he leaves, not in the mood for a lecture. Later, when Hunter sees Olivia talking to Jordan, he lashes out at Olivia, feeling betrayed. Jordan tells her she deserves better, leaving Olivia to wonder if he isn’t right?
Back at the house, Leah’s relieved when VJ apologises. But she and Zac are thrown when he tells Leah he wants Billie to move in. Zac and Leah agree that with Alf ill, the house so full and with VJ’s HSC coming up, it’s not a good idea. VJ goes to Billie and they make up. He tries to persuade her that he move back in with her until they sort something else out. But when Billie says he should stay at home and concentrate on his studies he’s stung by her rejection, telling her he’s had enough.
Meanwhile, when Chris teases Phoebe about Brody being missing, Phoebe admits she’s actually starting to worry. Her concern increases when a mysterious stranger, Blaine, shows up looking for Brody. But despite her repeated attempts to contact him, Brody maintains his radio silence.
Tensions in the safe house are growing as the house-bound Morgan family start to bicker with each other. Justin can’t believe Brody’s so far in denial about their situation that he’s still planning menus for the restaurant. It’s clear everyone’s patience is at breaking point. Later, as Mason sneaks a look at a text message from Lara, wondering if she’ll ever see him again, Tori receives word from the police that the family is being relocated to Perth. Brody and Mason are unhappy about moving so far away, but Justin accepts it, resigned. As they pack the car and wait for Decker, the siblings find Mason on the phone to Lara. Justin flips and throws Mason’s phone away. Later, as they’re waiting to leave, Tori realises Mason is missing. They find a note saying he’s gone to meet Lara. Justin’s grave – if they don’t find him fast, Mason could be in real danger…
