Everyone is shocked when Marilyn makes an inventory of her possessions and states she’d like to give them away before she dies. Sid is very uncomfortable with the idea and even more so when Marilyn insists she wants him to be the first person to select one of her things. He voices his concerns over what she is doing and Marilyn is hurt. All she wants is to see a part of her live on after she goes. Sid thinks people won’t be happy being asked to do such a thing, but Marilyn counters that the people who care about her will, because all they want is to make her happy -why can’t he understand that? Sid thinks on this and decides to support Marilyn. Later, he tells Nicole of his decision to follow Marilyn’s wishes – it’s what you do when you love someone. Nicole is happy at his admission and it looks like things are back on track for Marilyn and Sid.

Irene is surprised when Leah tells her she hasn’t broken the news to VJ that she’s split with Elijah. Irene warns her that the longer VJ believes they are still together, the worse the fallout will be. Leah confesses the truth to VJ, who is deeply hurt – not only that he’s lost Elijah but that Leah kept the truth from him.

After numerous occasions being caught without any money on her, Roo plays the ‘I forgot to go to the bank’ card again when she stops to have a juice and a chat about Hugo’s money with Gina. Roo heads off and as Gina pays for their drinks she finds half a credit card with Roo’s name on the floor. It’s been cut in half but it hasn’t expired and Gina’s mind starts ticking over. She reluctantly decides to do a credit check on Roo and she’s shocked when she finds that Roo is completely broke. Fearing that Roo’s motivation to get Hugo’s money to him is really an attempt to squander it, Gina confronts Roo who is gutted by the accusation. Roo vehemently denies the idea she would ever hurt Martha – she just wants to help her, but ultimately, it’s up to Gina whether she will trust her word. Gina thinks on it and decides to give Roo the benefit of the doubt, but has she made the right decision?

Will seems to be getting his life back on track. He’s working at the bait shop and he’s even spoken civilly with Gypsy on the phone. Irene commends the efforts he’s made but they are short lived when Alf decides to close the bait shop. Since Penn’s death, accusations and rumours are coming fast and business has taken a dive – he has to close up shop for a while. Will seems to take the news on the chin, but he has also received divorce papers from Gypsy in the mail. It’s too much and Will lashes out, trashing the beach house. He’s only stopped when he realises Irene and Lily have arrived home and seen him. Will breaks down – his whole world is falling apart.
