Sid is very uncomfortable with the idea and even more so when Marilyn insists she wants him to be the first person to select one of her things. He voices his concerns over what she is doing and Marilyn is hurt. All she wants is to see a part of her live on after she goes. Sid thinks people won’t be happy being asked to do such a thing, but Marilyn counters that the people who care about her will, because all they want is to make her happy -why can’t he understand that? Sid thinks on this and decides to support Marilyn. Later, he tells Nicole of his decision to follow Marilyn’s wishes – it’s what you do when you love someone. Nicole is happy at his admission and it looks like things are back on track for Marilyn and Sid.
Irene is surprised when Leah tells her she hasn’t broken the news to VJ that she’s split with Elijah. Irene warns her that the longer VJ believes they are still together, the worse the fallout will be. Fearing that Roo’s motivation to get Hugo’s money to him is really an attempt to squander it, Gina confronts Roo who is gutted by the accusation.
