Shandi takes a liking to Will and ditches Miles. Alf threatens to kill Penn. Later, Penn goes missing.
Extended Summary
Will and Lily talk about their return to Summer Bay and how Gypsy has left them. Irene asks them to stay with her until they get sorted. But Will seems to be settling into Summer Bay quite nicely; he meets Shandi who switches her attention away from Miles, leaving Miles saddened. Meanwhile, Will also manages to get a job from Alf at the Bait Shop to get back on his feet.
Ruby tries to convince Charlie to give her more driving lessons but she is hesitant. In the end Angelo decides to help, and whilst out on a driving lesson, Ruby gets distracted and accidentally hits Penn with the car. He staggers away but leaves Ruby still very shaken and determined to find a proper instructor.
Penn continues to torment the residents of Summer Bay. Marilyn has a disturbing nightmare about Penn attacking her, where Alf saves her by killing Penn with one punch. Finally Alf, Sid and Angelo are talking about what to do about Penn when he arrives at Angelo’s. Penn is deliberately provocative and Alf finally explodes, threatening to kill Penn, and the others have to restrain him.
When the maid comes to Penn’s hotel room in the morning, there is no sign of him except a pool of blood. What happened to Penn?
