With Dane due to arrive back with Lee tomorrow, Tony is worried about how prepared Rachel is to hand Joe back, she’s become very attached to Joe. When Dane does get back he’s alone. And as if it wasn’t bad enough having to hand Joe over to Dane, he now plans to head back north with his son, convinced that when Lee sees him, she’ll realise her mistake and go back to them. Rachel thinks he’s making a mistake, but Dane’s firm, and there’s nothing she can do.
It’s Kirsty’s first day the job as a housekeeper at The Sands, and it’s hard to stay positive while cleaning someone else’s toilet. But she needs money for Kane’s lawyer, and she’ll do whatever it takes to get it. When Trish, a fellow employee hears of her desperation, it seems she has plans of her own for Kirsty.
As Christine forces on with her exorcism and reason proves useless against her, Geoff rushes off to get help. He soon returns with Miles, and together they take a distraught Melody away. At Summer Bay House, Melody finds the kind of family life she always dreamed of, and with Miles promise that he won’t make her go back to her mother, she finds the courage to go to the police. But nobody could guess what Melody really has planned until she arrives on her mothers doorstep. To tell her she wants to divorce her parents.
