Extended Summary
Seeing how happy Morag is, Alf sees no reason why Morag and Ross should wait to move in together. But when she suggests to him that they strengthen their relationship, Ross is thrown, quickly taking his leave and leaving Morag feeling hurt and rejected.
Miles is having no more luck getting through to Jai, and when Alf notices the boy sitting in the same spot on the wharf for hours, just staring out to see, he lets Miles know. When Miles goes to check on him, Jai seemingly slips and falls into the water.
Still scared of the water, Miles forces down his phobia and leaps in after the struggling Jai. But it was no accident, and when he comes back up he finds Jai quite comfortably waiting for him in the water. It was a cruel prank, and still shaken by the experience, Miles is left to wonder if he’s bitten off more than he can chew here. What sort of person has Jai become?
With Oliver nearly ready to be released from hospital, Kane sneaks in to see him, but doesn’t take him. His real mission takes him to Irene. He has a very big favour to ask.
