Extended Summary

Tony’s initial thought is that Jack was involved in Sam’s death, however he, Rachel and Jazz soon realise this is not the case and are unsure if Jack actually knows Sam was murdered? Rachel is worried about his physical and mental health, suggesting they take him to the hospital to be sedated and kept under constant surveillance.

Meanwhile, Ross Buckton and McGrath consider the suspects and motives behind Sam’s murder. After examining the evidence it is revealed that the crime involved more than one person – sending Martha and Jack into suspicion.

Colleen, still glowing about being a Stewart, jumps at the opportunity to support Martha. Making her way to the police station she expresses to Detective Buckton how unhappy she is with the treatment of her great-niece. On a roll, Colleen tells Buckton how she didn’t like Sam, especially after what she said to Martha yesterday. Buckton intrigued asks what she is talking about. Colleen telling him that Sam said to Martha, word for word, “The only way you’ll ever get him is to kill me!” Without even realizing, Colleen has thrown Martha into a world of trouble. Proud of her efforts she makes her way back to the Townhouse to tell Martha and Morag the good news. They, however, are both terrified at what this could mean. Morag rushes down to the station to tell Ross to discredit anything Colleen has said but he has already begun making his own conclusions.

Aden, still recovering in hospital, is getting flashes from the day of the accident and regaining his lost memory. Rachel, still fearing he was abused by someone, is trying to get to the bottom of the situation. Larry, however, isn’t willing to give anything away. As Aden’s memories become clearer he has a strange feeling, that he should be ashamed of something. Rachel relays this to Larry and tells him the only way to deal with these things is to bring them into the open – but what will he decide to do?
