Jack and the firemen are investigating the burnt remains on the floor of the Surf Club. They are thankful there was no major damage caused but are even more concerned that the pyro has struck again! Jack and Rice pay a visit to Drew to ask some questions and Drew is instantly defensive. Leah and Dan are stunned to hear there has been another fire! Given Drew was home last night when the pyro struck – then it clears his name. Jack says the charges remain but things are looking more positive for Drew.

Belle heads off to school and meets Drew in the corridor. He questions if she’s heard the latest on the fire at the Surf Club – but when she openly mentions the same accelerant, Drew realises she knows more than she’s letting on. Drew is absolutely stunned that Belle lit the fire but when she explains she did it to prove he wasn’t the pyro, he softens. He can’t believe she’d do such a thing but admires her guts. Now they’ve just got to try to keep their secret!

Down at the Police Station, the police are frustrated they are right back to square one! That is, until Betty, arrives with the news she spotted someone suspect around the Surf Club late last night. As she gives a description, Jack realises who their culprit is! Amanda answers a knock at the door and is bemused to come face-to-face with Rice and Jack. They plough into asking Belle where she was last night. But her lies fall on deaf ears – they have proof that she lit the fire! Busted! Belle admits the truth but she did it to get Drew off the hook. Belle is devastated when Jack tells her she will charged with damaging property. And it seems Belle’s plan has severely backfired, because now Drew looks even more guilty!

Kim busies himself with cleaning up the remains of the fire. Rachel arrives but things are still tense following their argument. Kim is a bit abrasive and Rachel moves off. Alf watches on curiously and questions if all is ok on the love front. Kim opens up to Alf. Alf gives him some old words of wisdom, insisting that Rachel is a woman worth holding on to. Meanwhile, Sally is lending her ears to Rachel who is pondering her relationship over a coffee in the Diner. Sally is also offering the advice that Kim is worth holding on to, but as they are leaving Colleen comments that Kim was there last night having dinner with Tara. Rachel confronts Kim and their conversation turns to their issue of trust. Kim insists they can’t keep going round in circles – they have to make a decision about whether they truly have a future together.

Later, Kim and Rachel agree their relationship is worth fighting for. It’s sealed with a kiss and once again, the couple are happily back on track. Rachel moves off and Kim continues to work away at the gym. Tara appears and turns on the flirting again. Kim realises he’s given her the wrong impression and quickly explains he has a fiancée. Tara is instantly humiliated and her anger spills over. She insists he used her and rushes out, leaving Kim wondering how that all went so wrong. Rachel returns looking stunning and ready for a romantic dinner with Kim. Rachel picks up on his distraction and Kim fills Rachel in on the earlier situation with Tara. At that moment, Jack appears and insists Kim will need to come to the station for questioning.
