Mick comes to a decision about his future. Tori and Ash clash over Luc. Ryder attempts to woo Raffy.
Extended Summary
Ash drives deep into the bush and drags Mick out of the boot. Tori’s calling, but Ash isn’t near his phone. Ash tells Mick that he will be killed if he ever returns to Summer Bay.
Leah, Alf and Ryder are home. Leah and Alf are discussing how Ryder is traveling. Alf attempts to establish a connection with his grandson by asking him to go on a fishing trip in the morning.
Back in the forest, Mick is trying to get some phone reception and walks off a ledge. He’s stuck.
Alf wakes Ryder for their fishing trip, Ryder doesn’t take too kindly to this. Alf ends up at the Pier with Luc. Ash arrives gives Alf some motivation to continue trying to connect with Ryder. Alf notices that Ash isn’t too concerned about Mick, this slightly troubles Tori.
Mason, Hunter and Brody are about to head home from their bush walk when they hear the sounds of a screaming man. They run to help.
Alf confronts Ryder, again, in the kitchen. They both decide to head over to surf club. Over drinks, they boys try to connect. Before they break into a fight Raffy enters and steals Ryder’s attention – he likes her.
Irene is recovering in the hospital. Tori explains to Irene and Leah that they will need to perform surgery to remove Irene’s gallbladder. Irene’s concerned that Mick hasn’t visited her yet, even though he promised. Tori catches on and calls Mick’s motel searching for him.
Tori confronts Ash about Mick’s whereabouts. She’s suspicious of Ash, who is doing his best to be surprised about the disappearance.
Hunter, Brody and Mason find Mick, he’s injured and in a lot of pain. The boys help Mick to the hospital. Tori’s the doctor who is checking Mick over. She’s suspicious of the circumstances surrounding the injuries. Mick tells Irene and Tori that he doesn’t think Ash should be the one looking after his daughter. This further raises Tori’s suspicion.
Back at the surf club Mason’s sibling’s attempt, again, to convince him not to quit University. He just saved a man’s life with his skills.
Mick arrives back to his apartment. He’s filled with rage and searches online for Paternity testing. Tori arrives home, and asks Ash point blank to explain what he did to Mick. Ash comes clean. Tori’s furious, she blames Ash for Mick’s injuries and they fight.
