Andy Posted December 5, 2005 Report Share Posted December 5, 2005 Hewitt baby named Mia Daily Telegraph 6 December 2005 The million dollar baby - as she has been dubbed - of glamour couple Bec and Lleyton Hewitt finally has a name. Taking the middle name from mum, the couple have called their daughter Mia Rebecca Hewitt. And while gossip junkies were expecting the name to be announced along with pictures of the baby in Woman's Day, which hit shelves yesterday, the rumoured $1.5 million exclusive with the mag was ruined by talkback radio host and friend of Hewitt's Alan Jones. Jones announced the name on air as the magazine was released saying the couple had not yet decided on a name. The Hewitts' manager Rob Aivatoglou confirmed the name later. "Alan Jones announced it on this program this morning and he is a good friend of Bec and Lleyton's," Mr Aivatoglou said. New Idea did it's best to spoil the exclusive too, promoting and delivering about as much info on the baby as Woman's Day. Mrs Hewitt gave birth to Mia last Tuesday, November 29, at Sydney's North Shore Private Hospital. The family has now settled back at their Palm Beach mansion on Sydney's north shore peninsula.
