Jess
That would really annoy me too... But I just cry so easily...the slightest thing sets me off! The last time I got properly drunk was a couple of years ago....as I said...I hate the hellish hangovers! Liz
Why do you have to go back to school?
Jess
Because I'm staying on at the Sixth Form that's attached to my school next year, so I have to go back in for Sixth Form induction. It's team building and information on the Sixth Form and university applications and stuff...there's a lot of pressure for all the Sixth Formers to apply to Uni, so I guess they're starting on us early! IMO, the team building is pointless, because we've already been told that there will be no new people coming in September so it's just our year...the only positive being that it will just be a nice social! Liz
The college (I think) I'm going to had an induction day today, but because I was supposed to be on holiday, I didn't confirm my place.
Jess
Ahhh....ours is a three day thing and it sounds very random. Plus, because I'm in for induction, it means that I have to go the church at school (we're attached to a convent ) for Leaver's Mass. This is annoying as if I wasn't in, I wouldn't be going, but there's no way to get out of it if I'm in anyway.
Liz
Ah, the pros of attending a state school. I'm Catholic and when I left my Catholic primary school, we had a leavers' mass and a little meal. Now it's a prom.
Jess
I know....we get both, luckily. Although we had to fight damn hard to get the Prom! But in Sixth Form, we still have to to Church about twice a half term...it's mandatory...I'm surprised Sixth Formers actually manage to get any work done! Jess
I love school (yes, I'm weird), but to have to go in for 3 random days in the middle of my holidays is more than slightly annoying!
