"We’ve got a cot, a change table, a car seat and clothes. I'm getting tired." Selina announced. "We can go home, you need to rest." Steven replied kissing Selina’s forehead. Selina's mobile began ringing as Steven put the cot in the boot of the car. “It’s Jesse surprise surprise," Selina said turning off her mobile. Luke was home by himself doing a History assignment for school when the doorbell rang. Luke wasn’t surprised to see Jesse standing there. "Your mother in?" Jesse snapped. "No she’s out with Steven," Luke replied then tried to close the front door. "That won’t last her and Steveo, little cow she is." Jesse snapped. "You wonder why Mum left you. I'm so proud of her for leaving you best thing she ever did." Luke snapped. Jesse punched Luke in the face. "DON’T EVER BACK CHAT TO ME I'M YOUR FATHER!" Jesse yelled kicking Luke in the back and punching him again. Jesse threw Luke across the room as Steven walked in. Selina called the Police and ambulance. Kat and Ben arrested Jesse. "Stupid boy had it coming," Jesse snapped as Ben put him in the cell. "I’ll see you never go need your ex and the children again." Ben said then slammed the cell door shut. "YOU CAN'T KEEP ME HERE!" Jesse screamed hitting the wall. Selina frowned at Kat as she walked up to her and Steven. "My son wouldn’t be here if you’d of charged him after he put Sarah in here a few months ago." Selina snapped. "We are holding him and he’s facing charges," Kat replied feeling ashamed she let Selina and her children down. “I'm sorry Selina, he could face up to fifteen years in gaol if you, Sarah and Luke are prepared to do that," Kat said. "Put Luke and Sarah though a court case, they don’t need that." Selina said. "We can handle it Mum we want him in gaol," Luke said a week later as Selina drove home from a check up with Luke. "My brave son, I love you. I blame myself for your broken arm," Selina said. "I love you too Mum, this isn’t you fault," Luke said. A month has passed. Selina was kissing Steven lovingly one Friday night; the kids had gone camping for the weekend. "My divorce is finalized honey," Selina whispered running kissing down his neck. "Jesse's out of our lives," Steven whispered then kissed Selina lovingly. “He got at least ten years. I’m so proud of Sarah and Luke," Selina said. “Let’s not talk about your ex right now," Steven whispered. Selina let out a moan as Steven ran kisses down her neck. "Don’t stop baby," Selina whispered. Steven pulled a sheet over them and ran kisses behind Selina's neck. "Stttevven don’t stop," Selina moaned. "Don’t plan to babe," Steven whispered as their lips met again. Selina lay in Steven’s arms hours later. "I need a repeat of that at least once a week Matheson," Selina whispered. Steven kissed Selina forehead. "We needed some time alone," Steven whispered. "Christmas is coming up. Why don’t we rent somewhere in Surfer Paradise for a few weeks. "Got any plans for Christmas?" Chase asked. "I'm going to the Gold Coast for three weeks. What about you?" Sarah replied. "Got a summer job at the Surf Club," Chase replied. "Chase, why are you talking with her? I’ve been looking everywhere for you." Rachel announced linking arms with Chase. "Dad is fine, Holly and I hoping he’ll be out of gaol by Christmas," Rachel said pulling at Sarah's hair and pushing her into the lockers. "Quit it!" Sarah snapped. Rachel hit Sarah over the face. Sarah fell to the ground. "Rachel stop it." Sarah whispered starting to cry. "Dad’s in gaol because of you and Selina." Rachel snapped then pushed Sarah again. Lucy came up and punched Rachel in the face. "Lucy Matheson my office now!" announced Mrs Sullivan, the Principal of Summer Bay High. "What about Rachel, she’s been laying into Sarah?" Lucy asked. "I only saw you punch Rachel. I have to ring you Father," Mrs Sullivan replied. Steven and Selina were in the Principal’s office with Lucy. "Fighting at school Lucy, I'm disappointing in you." Steven snapped looking at his daughter. "Dad, Rachel hit Sarah across the face. What was I meant to do?" Lucy said. "I need to suspend Lucy for one week," Mrs Sullivan announced. "Lucy I'm am very disappointed in you." Steven snapped as they drove home. " Dad, Rachel started it she punched Sarah," Lucy said. "You are grounded for two weeks and no dance," Steven announced. "Dad that’s not fair." Lucy cried. "YOU NEVER HIT SOMEONE!” Steven screamed as he pulled into the driveway. "I'm sorry Dad," Lucy whispered. "Go to your room!" Steven snapped. Lucy entered the house and went upstairs. Selina got onto the lounge. "Was I too hard on her Selina?" Steven asked. "No, but Lucy was defending Sarah and I loved that she did," Selina replied. "I won’t let Lucy think it’s okay to hit because it isn't." Steven said. "Lucy is not like Jesse, Steve. She's a good kid." Selina replied. Steven kissed Selina softly. "I know. I promised he’ll never touch you or your kids again," Steven whispered. “I love you Steve," Selina whispered putting her arms around Steven. "I love you too honey," Steven whispered then kissed Selina softly. "Guess who called the other day," Selina announced at dinnertime. "Who?" Sarah asked. "Shannon, she’s coming to visit in January." Selina answered. "We haven't seen her in five years," Luke said. "Why not, you’ve been friends forever, that’s what Sarah told me years ago?" Lucy asked. “Jesse didn't like Shannon," Selina replied. "Bet you can’t wait to see her, Mum." Sarah said. "I can’t. She can’t wait to see you guys too or meet Lucy," Selina said. "Do you know Shannon, Dad?" Lucy asked. "While you were on camp a few years, honey." Steven said. Steven came out of the bathroom to see Selina in bed reading a book. "Hey how you feeling?" Steven asked. "I can't believe Christmas is less then two weeks away," Lucy said lying on Sarah's bed watching Sarah getting ready for the dance. "Sorry you can’t come to the dance," Sarah said looking at her dress. "Do I look alright?" Sarah asked. "You look beautiful Sarah, Chase will be blown away." Lucy said. "I wish you could come, there will be more dances next year." Sarah said. "We’ll be in Year Eleven," Lucy said. Steven knocked on the door. "Ready to go, Sarah?" Steven asked. "I think so," Sarah replied smiling at Steven. Sarah walked downstairs and saw her mother lying on the lounge. "Honey you look beautiful." Selina said smiling at Sarah. "Thanks Mum," Sarah said. Steven made sure Selina was comfortable on the lounge. "Do you need another pillow?" Steven asked. "I am fine, stop fussing Steve." Selina answered. "It’s my job to worry honey," Steven said. Selina gave Steven a kiss. "I'll be home around midnight. Lucy look after Selina." Steven said. "Yes Dad," Lucy replied sitting on the lounge. Steven and Sarah left. "Do you still have those 'Gilmore Girls' dvds?” Selina asked as Luke came downstairs. "I’m going to a movie Mum, I’ve got a date," Luke said. Lucy frowned then went upstairs to get the dvds. "Home by midnight okay honey," Selina said. "Sure, hope Lucy will take care of you tonight." Luke said then he left. Sarah arrived at the dance to see Rachel yelling at Daniel. "I AM EIGHTEEN, GIVE ME THE BEERS!" Rachel yelled. "There is no alcohol at this event," Mrs Sullivan said. "It’s a stupid rule I got my ID," Rachel snapped then grabbed a six-pack of beer and ran out. "MISS McGREGOR GET BACK HERE!" Mrs Sullivan yelled. "Rachel always needs attention," Sarah said. All he wanted to do was crawl into bed with Selina. Steven yawned as he closed the restaurant around one am. Steven's mobile began ringing. Steven saw it was Selina "Hi honey I will be home soon," Steven said. "It's after one Steve. Is everything okay?" Selina asked. "Rachel stole some beer," Steven answered. "Did you call Kat?" Selina asked. "I will in the morning," Steven replied. Steve got home and saw Sarah kissing Chase. "Time to go home Chase," Steven said. "I will see you tomorrow around 11," Chase said. "See you then," Sarah said then walked inside. Steven entered his bedroom and pulled his shirt off. Selina was reading. "You should be asleep, honey." Steven whispered. "The baby has been kicking tonight," Selina said. Steven smiled touching Selina's stomach and felt their baby kicking. "Wow that’s amazing! Our baby," Steven whispered. Selina kissed Steven softly. "I can’t wait for our baby," Selina whispered. "Neither can I," Steven whispered then kissed Selina lovingly. Steven woke up the next morning to the bathroom door being slammed. "LUKE I WAS JUST ABOUT TO USE THE BATHROOM, I’VE GOT TO GO TO WORK!" Lucy yelled knocking on the bathroom door. "It’s not seven yet wait your turn Lucy," Luke called back. "Lucy go use the one downstairs," Steven called out. "My shampoo is in this one," Lucy said. "Lucy doesn’t start until nine, it’s early for a Saturday." Selina whispered rolling over trying to get back to sleep. "Luke’s just be annoying," Lucy said banging on the door. "Lucy go have breakfast okay," Steven snapped putting an arm around Selina's waist. They heard Lucy go downstairs. Steven kissed Selina on the forehead. "I better get up," Steven whispered. "I might stay here all day" Selina whispered then gave Steven a kiss. "I got the cop talking to me today, little brat Rachel is." Steven said. "You did nothing wrong baby it’ll be okay," Selina said touching Steven’s chest. "Steveo can’t have me charged," Rachel announced at the Police station. "You stole beer from Steven," Kat replied. "So he’s the reason my Dad is in gaol," Rachel snapped. "That’s your father’s fault. He hit Selina, Sarah and Luke," Kat said. "Selina never respected my father, she deserved to be hit at times."
