"Bit early to be thinking of names is it; I can’t be more then six weeks along?" Selina asked. Steven kissed Selina softly. "I'm just really happy," Steven whispered, putting his arms around Selina's waist. "I am too, I am just so in love with you," Selina whispered then kissed Steven. "I love you too and our baby," Steven said. Selina looked though the book. Steven got out a bag of sausages as Lucy and Sarah entered the kitchen. Selina put the book in a drawer; she and Steven agreed not to say anything about the baby until Selina was twelve weeks along. "Dad is that party still on offer? I changed my mind about having one," Lucy asked. "Sure, I'm glad you want one," Steven answered. "Selina is invited, so is Lucy and Luke, and Terry O'Neil, you know your friend Daniel, his son," Lucy said. "Yes I know who he is, I’ll think about it," Steven said. "Dad I'm sixteen next week, I can finally date," Lucy announced. "And get your L's," Sarah added. Mum, do you have that money for Canberra yet? The money is due on Friday," Luke asked, entering the kitchen in his school uniform. "I’ll get it today honey," Selina answered smiling at her son. "Terry is going to be school captain next year," Sarah announced. "You’re kidding, I'm going to be captain not that jerk," Luke said. "Luke, I agree. He’s a jerk and he’s not coming to your party Lucy," Steven said. "But Dad he likes me, he’s like the most popular boy in school," Lucy argued. "If you two want a lift to school, I'm leaving now," Luke said. Selina watched the kids leave for school. "I bought Lucy this necklace for her birthday next week," Selina said pulling it out of her pocket. "I picked up her present on Friday, a car she will love it! I’ve been saving hard for three years," Steven said. Steven got to work. Daniel was at the bar talking with the new cop Dylan Carter. "You want a pizza?" Steven asked. "Sure," Dylan replied. "So how do you get on with Kat?" Daniel asked. "I’ve know Kat for about ten years, we were engaged," Dylan replied. "Really, you’re the ex?" Daniel asked. "Carter we’re due back to the station," Kat Chapman announced entering the restaurant. "Steven, I can come to Lucy's party? I am her mother," Tess asked. "That's Lucy’s call not mine," Steven answered. "Hi the name’s Tess. Can I get you dinner some time?" Tess flirted, touching Dylan's arm. "Sure I’d like that," Dylan replied. Steven saw Kat come into the restaurant that night. "Pizza for Chapman," Steven announced. "Thanks Steve, how Selina?" Kat asked. "Selina is good. So Dylan, what’s the story?" Steven said. "We dated, just leave it Steven" Kat snapped then left. Steven was out jogging the next morning and ran into Dylan who was running towards him. "Just be careful with Tess. You two got a date?" Steven said. "Thanks but it’s nothing. I would never take off on my child like Tess did," Dylan said. "They had a kid, what happened?" Selina asked. Jane asked as she played on the slide. "No sweetie, I'm not," Dylan replied, smiling at his little girl. Dylan saw Kat come through the park gate with her boyfriend Martin Ashford. "What is he doing here?" Dylan snapped. "I'm Kat's boyfriend," Ash replied. "I didn't agree to this," Dylan snapped, picking up her daughter. "We want custody of Jane," Ash announced. Kat you haven't seen Jane for two years," Dylan said. "You are joking! Kat smiled at Jane. "She’s beautiful Dylan," Kat said looking at her ex fiancé. You've missed a lot in your daughter's life, why now Kat?" Dylan asked. "Jane is my daughter Dylan, give me a chance," Kat replied. "These past two years haven't been easy on Kat, she lost Sammy," Ash snapped. "Sammy was my son too," Dylan said. Kat looked at her daughter. "I'm sorry Dylan," Kat said. "Mummy?" Jane asked. "We will get custody!" Ash announced. "As if," Dylan said. Ash pushed Dylan to the ground. "Ash just go!" Kat snapped. Ash left, Dylan watch as Kat bonded with their little girl that afternoon. Steven walked downstairs to see Selina reading the book he gave her. "Any names you like?" Steven asked as he ran kisses down Selina's neck. "I still thinking we’ve got a few months Steve," Selina whispered. Steven noticed a letter on the side table. "Divorce to be final early December," Selina whispered. "Can't wait baby," Steven said putting his arms around Selina's waist. Selina kissed Steven softly. "Steven I love you, you make me so happy," Selina whispered unbuttoning his shirt. "I love you too Selina," Steven whispered picking her up. Selina got Steven's shirt off and she wrapped her legs around his waist. "Kids won't be home for an hour or so," Selina whispered. Steven walked them upstairs, they left a trail of clothes behind them. "I told you Terry will be captain," Lucy announced as her and Sarah entered the house a few hours later. "I do feel for Luke," Sarah said. "Terry is such a babe. When is he going asked me out?" Lucy asked. "I don't know Lucy. You could ask him out," Sarah said. Selina and Steven come downstairs. Selina had one of Steven's shirts on. "Thought you two had a meeting after school?" Steven asked. Lucy and Sarah smiled as Selina got her dress. "It’s five fifty Dad," Lucy replied. "It sure is sweetie," Tess replied as Steven and Selina came outside. "A car, Mum got me a car!" Lucy announced smiling and hugging Tess. You knew I planned to give Lucy a car." Steven snapped. "What? "I am being a parent Steven, not my fault I gave my car to Lucy first." Tess replied. "You only bought this because Dad already bought me one?" Lucy asked. "Don’t you like it?" Tess asked. "I can’t be bought, take it back!" Lucy snapped then left the house. Get out of my house!" Steven snapped. "Great parenting Tess, Lucy can’t be bought. Sarah found Lucy walking on the beach. "Your Dad told me what happened, you okay?" Sarah asked. "I hate her," Lucy whispered before starting to cry. Sarah wrapped her arms around her friend. Sarah pulled out a present from her pocket. "Here it’s not much, happy birthday," Sarah said handing Lucy a small present. Lucy unwrapped it, inside was a bracelet. "Thanks Sarah, I love it!" Lucy said then hugged her friend. Kat was in the park again pushing Jane on the swing. "Mummy do you love me?" Jane asked. "Of course I do sweetie, very much," Kat replied looking at her daughter. "Never leave me again, I love you too Mummy" Jane replied then gave Kat a hug. "Do you still love Daddy?” Jane asked. Kat glanced at Dylan "I do with all my heart," Kat thought. "Well, I got a date with Tasha Brown," Dylan announced. "Who is watching Jane?" Kat asked. "My Mother," Dylan replied. "I am meeting Ash anyway," Kat said, and then walked away. Lucy came downstairs in her new dress for the party. “Lucy your Mum called, she had a trip booked for the US." Steven said. I'm always coming last in her life," Lucy replied. "Tess never planned to come. "I'm sorry honey, I love you,” Steven said hugging his daughter. "I love you too Dad, you’re the best Dad!" Lucy said. Steven watched Lucy and Sarah go out and greet their friends who were arriving for the party. Steven entered the kitchen and saw Selina making a salad. "You up for tonight?" Steven asked. "I'm glad Tess left. She’s not ever coming between us," Selina whispered then kissed Steven loving. " I love you" Steven whispered. "Never baby, I promise.
