It's not Christmas Eve, it's the 23rd. It's still pretty crap though, not cool at all! If I want to go for a meal or anything on my birthday I have to book weeks in advance, months in advance if I want to go out with more than 2 people! Half my friends are too busy doing Christmas stuff or are away visiting family and stuff, so they never come to the pub on my birthday either! It's rubbish!
Jess Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Sorry...all this Christmas stuff is getting to my brain, I'm losing track of time! Awwwww! My birthday's in January and after Christmas I find it impossible to give present suggestions!
Cal Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Got a letter in school today saying that I get off at 12:40 on Friday for Christmas. The only classes on Friday now are .... Double Art, Geography and Maths. After I get out of school, I'm going for some un-healthy lunch (Best spoil myself) then I'm going food shopping for Christmas Eve (I'm cooking loads of yummy stuff that night, probably because I can never cook Christmas Dinner ) I'm very happy now!

Elise Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 My best mate's is on Christmas Day! She hates it with a passion, as she gets combined presents, as well as the fact she doesn't feel 'special' and it isn't 'her day'. Like you know when you have a birthday, everyone knows and they lavish attention onto you and you are the only one with a pressie, but with it being on Christmas day, everyone gets presents and you don't feel as special as everyone is celebrating something else. I feel for her, I really do.
Cal Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 That's the same with my friend, Elise. He has his birthday on Christmas too, but he loves it.
Elise Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Really?? Wow, that's strange! I work with people who's birthdays are real close to Christmas and they hate it! Glad someone likes it though, it would kinda suck to get the short straw like that.
MarMar Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 The scarf is just as long as me! 165cm! Iiik! *Continues knitting*
Jess Posted December 20, 2006 Report Posted December 20, 2006 Wow! How long are you gonna make it, Merc?

Stripey scarves are funky Ooh, I might have to knit myself a scarf! Knitting can be quite therapeutic at times. Maybe I'll knit a big black one, or a stripey one and stitch little bats or something onto it. That way, it won't look like anyone elses scarf. I've been looking at some custom-made gothic lolita coats and dresses and stuff on ebay, I like having stuff that's different to what everyone else has. It's nice to be different
