Presented by Seven’s Home & Away, MIX 102.3 and Henley Properties in support of Surf Life Saving SA. The "Day at the Beach" on February 12 will feature a sand sculpture competition, beach volleyball, cricket, three-legged races and guest appearances by cast members of the hit TV soap Home and Away. Come down to Henley Square at Henley Beach in Port Adelaide on Sunday 12th Febuary between 10.00am and 3.00pm. You can meet Nic Bishop (Peter Baker), Tim Campbell (Dan Baker), Sharni Vinson (Cassie Turner) Amy Mathews (Rachel Armstrong), and Jessica Tovey (Belle Taylor). They will be doing a meet and greet, playing beach cricket, cooking on the barbeque, radio interviews, and autograph signing. It's a great family day in support of Surf Life Saving SA. There will also be a sand sculpture competition, an outdoor broadcast from MIX 102.3, a live band (Huckleberry Swedes), a rescue demonstration from the Westpac Life Saver Helicopter, beach volleyball, beach cricket, skim board demonstrations, a Fireman vs Surf Lifesavers tug of war and volleyball competition, egg & spoon races & 3 legged races, face painters, a beach BBQ and heaps of prizes! LOL I hope to go but it is out of my way and depends if anyone else would want to go and what the weather is like. I so want to take pics and get autographs of the boys...
