Bobby was not Sam's mum. After she had her miscarriage in 1991, she had got all maternal and so decided to foster a kid (despite only being around 21). She was placed with Sam (who was about 7 or 8) temporarily but when he went back to his mother Jackie, she had got so attatched to him that she decided to put a fight up to keep him. Eventually, she won and fostered him permanatly and the two became like family until his natural father Greg (aged around mid-twenties) turned up to see him (he had never been able to have access when Sam was with his mum). Bobby and Greg ended up falling in love and after she helped him get custody of Sam, they married and she adopted Sam as his step-mother, bringing him up as her own (although he called her 'Bobby' and she was about 22 and he was about 9 lol). So she wasn't a young mother but his foster and then step-mother.

Yeah, Ailsa had it out with Frank. This was around the 1991 finale / 92 season return. Bobby was considering getting back together with him but changed her mind when he kept going on about Roo. She then realised that Greg was the man for her and it was better to be loved for once than clinging onto something that would never work and got back with Greg. Frank then got a job in London and wasn't seen again until 2000.

Yes he did. He looked exactly the same as he did in 89, just slightly chubbier and not as young-looking (but still pretty hot). Bobby by this time had a neck-length bob, wore more makeup and had red highlights.

*feels threatened*
