Thank you Yeah, I wasn't sure if I'd written Roman before, then I remembered one I wrote with Aden hitting on him or something and Geoff getting the wrong idea about everything (thinking Roman initiated it) but that was more about Aden, and it was only short. It was nice to write Roman properly, he's a great character to explore

Meanwhile, Libby Tanner AND Georgie Parker AND Bobby Morley will all be in "Scorched" on channel 9... opposite Idol and DWTS I'll be watching it I think, but Channel 9 really are dumb. They corral all these old Channel 7 celebrities and then run them against one of Seven's most popular show, which has current Channel 7 celebrities... Hopefully the ratings for DWTS and Idol will be split and Scorched will survive alright

I watched "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton" - veeery predictable, but okay to pass the time. I am now watching "You And Your Stupid Mate." I advise anyone who visits this forum (particularly those on BTTB staff) to watch this show

I do. I myself will have to resort to taping things if that's the case. I don't expect Packed to the Rafters to last no matter how good it is - I don't think Seven will give it a fighting chance, even though they've been promoting it well. We could get lucky. Rush on the other hand, I have high hopes that Ten will look after it and let it see out at least a full season. Then there is The Strip, which I would only watch out of curiosity to see Bobby Morley in a new role. If all three are on at the same time, I'm afraid that's the one I'll have to sacrifice. I don't have any faith in Nine at all, so there'd be no point risking an attachment to that show.

I'm just praying that neither of them get put up against Rush. I have a bad feeling about it

Aha! The forum's back!! Now I can repeat all the nice things I said on the temp forum That was AWESOME!!! I stayed up til 2.30am reading it because I couldn't put it down I just HAD to know how it ended! And I wasn't disappointed AT ALL!!!!! Loved the insight into everyone's history - I feel like I know all the characters better now, which I think is what a good fic should do. Jazz and Sam were so cute. And I love that Chris is falling for Jazz - awww . I was worried when he kissed Amanda - I was all "What about Jazz and Peter!? You can't leave them hanging!!!" But you didn't, so yay (Well now I've run out of emoticons... *rolls eyes.*) Loved the introduction of Justin, and what his being around means to Aden. First he's a bad reminder of the past, but then he's an invaluable support system, which is something that Aden's needed all along. Not to mention a handy plot device for missing important phone calls *wink.* The flashback to Justin trying to get Larry to DO something was brilliant... and sad... *sad face.* The baby kicking so that Belle knew it was okay... that was so sweet, and such a relief because I had been worried about the baby... I also really like how you described the day of the birth - really quick, basic description that got the point across effectively. If I'd written that, I'd have spent like six pages detailing the clothes Belle packed in her overnight bag *roll eyes.* And finally, K-E-L-L-(Insufferable)I. I hate her so, so much. And I am so, so glad that you shot her dead. Thank you. A thousand times, thank you. It was so satisfying. And it was an unexpected point of sympathy for Kitty as well - after all she'd done, you still managed to make me feel sorry for her. Incredible really. Well done! *BIG GRIN!* *BIG GRIN BIG GRIN BIG GRIN!!!!!* Oh, and I almost forgot - Abby and Geoff - too cute *wub*

I forgot to say I saw The Dark Knight!!! I'm not sure I really liked the movie as a whole (I can't get into Christian Bale's Batman - he seems so... boring), but Heath Ledger, grrrrrroowwwlllllll!!!! Take THAT anyone who thought his popularity was based on looks! (Not that that's something I've heard, but just in case anyone was thinking it, they'd well and truly be proved wrong ) How do I fall in love with a character who is completely insane, looks like some form of literal Hell, and who uses CLOWNS to terrorize people!? I don't know how, but I think I have Was Heath supposed to follow up this role in another movie? I think I heard that somewhere. It's such a shame that he didn't get the chance to do it, if that was the plan, because I just don't feel like I've had enough of his Joker to be satisfied! I WANT MORE!!! I guess I'll just have to wait for the DVD, and pray for deleted scenes Oh, and Two-Face. Good gravy. That was some nasty and BRILLIANT make-up and/or computer effects. What I love about it most, is that I really can't tell how they did it. Plus his character after that happened... the coin... I've always loved the coin, ever since Tommy Lee-Jones, but to see the origin played out that way... very satisfying .

I've read the first ten chapters. I'm breaking my rule about not reading unfinished fics, but every time I see the title of this fic, I get the song "History Never Repeats" by Split Enz in my head... and I really like that song... and today it just happened to be on the radio when I was in bed... so I took it as a sign that I should start reading this fic, and I did, and it's great! All the characters are spot on - even the minor ones like Annie and Geoff. It would be so easy to ignore them and pretend they weren't there, so well done for finding a place for them! I think it's great that you've brought Amanda and Chris' families into it too, and not just tying the story down to Summer Bay. Great idea. The history between Amanda and Chris is so interesting, and I love the similarities between them and Adelle Jazz is also an excellent addition to any fic! Oh, and thank you for the Drew/Aden fight at the hospital - niiiice visuals there I'm very curious to see where things go from here, and although I could read on, I'm going to take a break and ration out the remaining chapters a bit more. Otherwise I fear I will become quite the pest, demanding new chapters once I've finished the ones you've written and REALLY can't wait to read more! Keep up the good work!

Alrighty, FINALLY read it. Charlie's death, aw... He thought Cooper was Roo... It was good, loved the dialogue, but I have to say that I was pretty confused by the ending. So... Andrew's the killer? Killing his own sons...? For... why? And is Greg meant to be his kid too? Or... I really don't understand what went on there. Help

I'd say so. I think they take away everything but the news when the Olympics is on. And even then, the news will probably be about the Olympics
