  1. Wow. Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments Leyla, Carina, Bec, Laura, Amy, Sabrina, Gem, HAA Girl 08, Lise, Sez, Stella and Luc . I miss them too! Not gonna lie. I still ship these two. Hard. And now I bring you the best brothers. Ever. (According to me)

^ Hmm. Making me feel a little bit better. I guess it's going to be one of those wait and see things. Although dates are already being thrown around that Season 2 will go to air in September, which really isn't that far off. Excitement!

Do. Not. Want. Okay, so maybe it's just me but I'm getting tired of finding out about all these guest stars. Really. They have all these awesome actors on the show already. Utilise what you have! Give Artie/Tina/Brittany/Mike/Matt/anyone else a storyline before you start bringing in other people to fill one or two episodes, purely for 'star power' or whatever. Just because you can kind of sing, doesn't mean you should be on the show. Admittedly, I adored having Neil Patrick Harris and JGroff on the show, but they are truly musical theatre performers and their characters had a purpose. There are rumors that Susan Boyle is going to guest star as a lunchlady or something equally ridiculous. This is what I'm talking about. Pointless guest star! Leave the awesome cast alone. I want more family drama. How is Quinn settling back in with her mother? What about Puck and his mother/sister (who we've already seen)? More Burt/Carol please! Anything like that. Just keep the guest stars few and far between so when they do turn up it is worthwhile.
  4. It's episode 4575 .
  5. ! I made them and thought of you . And thank you soooo much for the rest of the comments everyone.
  6. Adore the colouring, Bec. It works so well on these Tasha ones .
  7. Thanks Carina . The full quote for my own posterity. "You know Campbell, when you hit me, I thought to myself, 'Hey, you know what? This guy might be alright after all.' And then you go and blow it with that lame apology. For a second mate, I thought you were gonna propose to me! And that's what it is Campbell, isn't it? You just want me, don't you?"
  8. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  9. Thank you so much for all the love! As always, feel free to save, just credit/upload if you want to use.
  10. *slaps forehead* How could I forget the proposal quote?! Fail. But thank you so much for the awesome comments everyone. I totally appreciate it. You never know what my next picspam will be
  11. Aww, thank you! Feel free to comment in the actual thread and let me know your favourite bits etc.
  12. Thankies so much Sarah, Sabrina, Lesley, CharlieBucktonFan, Janie, Monique, Leyla and Lise . So, since the Belle/Aden spam was so popular I've fulfilled one of my most ambitious tasks ever. And one of the most exciting. A comprehensive guide to shipping Geoff/Aden (aka my OTP ). Even if you don't ship 'em, there's lots of pretty pictures of pretty boys. It's a win-win. Check it out! http://www.backtothebay.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40821
  13. Part Two 2. K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Throughout my time in this online fandom it has become apparent that while some storylines or couplings may be favoured or conjured by the fans, the writers are pretty much at liberty to do their own thing. They don’t generally take ideas from fans, that’s just the way it is. However, on occasion it has seemed that persistence has paid off. While never confirmed, the highly enjoyable adventures of Robbie and Kim going to a nudist resort is one example of a possible salute from the writers to the fans who shipped this couple from the very beginning, where Robbie was eagerly anticipating the arrival of Kim, the principal’s daughter. As a result of this episode the two boys spent the night in the same bed, while the Robbie/Kim shippers squealed with delight and let their imaginations run wild with whatever happened under the covers. That short aside brings me to the second time in which the persistence of the fans resulted in a ship flourishing. Again, I reiterate that this has never been confirmed by anyone associated with the show, but I think you will have a hard time convincing any of the Geoff/Aden supporters that without them this never would have been possible. In the eyes of Gaden shippers this episode will go down at ‘The. Best. Freaking. Episode. Ever.’ [And if this was an episode of Friends it would be called, “The One with the Kiss”.] Following Belle’s passing, Aden was understandably devastated. But in an act of friendship and kindness, Geoff encouraged Aden to take him on as an apprentice, working with him on the fishing trawler. If you have read the above text, then I’m sure you can already envision all the possible mischief two young guys can get up to on a trawler, when they are all alone, with no one else to talk to, and only each other to argue with. But this episode surpassed all the possible expectations. Aden: Geoff and I kissed and made up. 1. Real Life Roomies. Adding more fuel to the Gaden fire is the fact that for a period of time Lincoln Lewis (Geoff, aka the Lynx effect) and Todd Lasance (Aden, nicknamed T-bone) were not only cast mates, but flat mates as well. Todd openly describes their relationship as “like brothers from another mother”. So yeah, they’re close. “There’s days we’ll barely speak because we’re so tired, or we’ll stay up until 3 am chatting.” What I wouldn’t give to know what they were talking about! But it is this kind of mateship that enhances the whole ship. There are numerous pictures showing the boys at different parties and events, showing that even when they are being paid to be together, they still are in each other’s company. All. The. Time. Living with another actor means that inevitably one will ask the other run lines. I wonder if they practice kissing scenes too? Just to make sure they get the technique right, obviously. But even so, they are two good looking guys. Who have the attention of many female fans. At one point Todd took it upon himself to sift through the potential female friends of Lincoln - “I actually have to sign off on the girls for Lincoln because the line’s so long - the door closes at 15, max”. Both the boys have left the Bay in 2010, but Lincoln sites his favourite moment as anything involving Geoff and Aden. “I loved the constant feud between Aden and Geoff. Todd and I would amp it up as much as we could. Even when Geoff would pour his heart out to Aden, he’d be like, “Man up, will you?!” The Downside As mentioned above, both of the boys have left Summer Bay, seemingly separately. Geoff dumped Ruby to go off and be part of a missionary, something that emphasises his caring nature and willingness to help others that was always a strong character trait. Aden on the other hand, left with his brother Justin, after being accused of murdering his father, to join the army because his life appeared to lack direction. However. And this is the part that will test whether you are completely on board with this ship. Given that it is never specified where Aden and/or Geoff will end up in a week, month, year, it is highly possible and plausible that they will see each other again. And when they do, it will be an amazing moment that will be full of banter and awkwardness and kissing (maybe). If we’re lucky. But I feel like I’m quoting a Disney movie when I say that this will only happen if you believe. But seriously, it could. -- Significant Quotes Todd: I often get mistaken for Lincoln Lewis. Lincoln: ...She [Cornelia Frances} has me and Todd (Lasance) over for dinner... But if you’re trying to get a scoop, I can’t say anything, sorry! [What are you trying to say Lincoln?] On the first time they met. Lincoln: It was my second week of shooting and it was really early in the morning. I remember seeing this mad car and this blond, tanned, surfie-looking dude getting out of it. Todd: It was my first day on location and we were out at Avalon [in Sydney]. We were shooting football scenes where Lincoln’s character, Aden, has a go at him. Before that, I was walking out of the make-up truck and he’s like “Hey, I’m Lincoln and I play Geoff.” We hit it off from day one. While living together. Todd: The only time we’d argue was when he wanted to watch Stargate and I wanted to watch Entourage. Todd: We actually enjoy the fight scenes, but to this day, it’s almost impossible to have a serious scene together because we laugh so much! Lincoln: Todd learns his lines the best - you can tell by his on-screen performance. We work well off each other. I think my best scenes are with him. [Aww!] -- Concluding Comments: Okay, quiz time. Geoff and Aden are: a) Two ridiculously good looking guys who look pretty standing next to each other b) Played by real-life mates who share the same sense of awesome humour and only argue over DVD selections c) Subconsciously dating, having been seen sharing a table at the Diner and also IRL d) In love e) All of the above If you picked any of the above answers you are correct! I hope this picspam has been both informative and entertaining, and I look forward to seeing you hop on board the SS Gaden soon.
  14. Geoff and Aden The story, the ship and the fans Part One Geoff Campbell A boy from humble beginnings Geoff was raised on a farm with his younger sister, Annie, by his grandfather after his parents died in a car crash. One of the things that separated (and possibly alienated) Geoff from the other teens in the Bay at this time, was his firm Christian beliefs (a result of his upbringing). Aden: "I don’t think you want to forgive me. I think you want to flatten me.” Aden Jefferies Aden was introduced as a rebound boyfriend to Cassie, with a talent for football. The most significant part of Aden’s life however was revealed later. As part of an emotional scene with Belle it was revealed that Aden had been sexually abused by his grandfather. Aden: "See you round, Bible Boy.” It seems these two characters couldn’t be further apart, and initially couldn’t be in the same room without one of them wanting to throw a punch. But as you very well know ... Opposites Attract -- 6 reasons to ship Geoff/Aden (And 1 reason not to) 6. How could you not love their adorable faces? 5. Played for the same football team. Aden’s initial resentment of Geoff stemmed from the fact that his natural good-naturedness immediately made him coach’s favourite, therefore leaving Aden on the outer. As revenge for Geoff being the focus of Tony’s affection Aden spiked Geoff’s drink when the football team decided to spend some time “bonding”. Yep, that’s my definition of bonding too. Needless to say, Geoff ended up passed out and locked in the boot of Tony’s car. All in a night’s work for Aden Jeffries: Expert at Payback. It only takes remembering this to take the next step into this ship. That being, they’ve totally seen each other naked in the boys’ locker room. I will leave you with that amazing mental image. You can thank me later. Further tension arose when Geoff turned down the opportunity to play for a city based football team, while Aden was left out completely, having injured his knee. While cleaning up the local church Aden decided to drop by and give both Geoff and Annie grief. Aden poked and prodded and provoked Geoff so that he was pretty much completely in his face. They were this close! If ever there was a scene that was oozing unresolved sexual tension, it was this one. And this is when the support for this ship really picked up. Geoff clenched his jaw and resisted the urge to thump Aden, while Aden thoroughly enjoyed tormenting him, seeing how far he could push the boundaries. Aden (to Annie): You throw like your brother too. 4. Common previous relationships. Both Geoff and Aden have dated/made out with Nicole Franklin. In both cases it was Nicole who made the first move. Now, I’m not completely sure what this says about their taste in girls, maybe it’s just a result of having a relatively small group of friends, but either way at some point they were dazzled by this girl. Nicole made her move on Aden pretty much as soon as he stepped through the door of Roman’s house, her tactic with Geoff was a little bit different, and also resulted from a bet with Aden. Two-hundred bucks said that Nicole could get Geoff into bed within two weeks. I was so sure that Aden’s comeback was going to be, “I bet I can do it in one.” Belle Taylor also played contributed to the lives of both these boys. While Geoff simply lived with her at Irene’s place for a period of time, Aden fell in love and they married, before Belle passed away from cancer. Geoff made it pretty obvious from the word go that he did not approve of these two as a couple, and while mainstream viewers simply saw this as Geoff continuing to hold a grudge against Aden from constantly picking on him. Gaden shippers however saw this as rather Geoff’s reluctance to see Aden paired with anyone. It didn’t help that his intimacy with Belle resulted in some close encounters in Irene’s living room, where one or both of the boys may have been shirtless/semi-naked at the time. Not only did Geoff walk in on Aden under the covers of Belle’s bed, but there were also a variety of winks and nudges exchanged between to the two on the night of the school formal, while they were looking very dapper in their suits. Yeah, these pics don’t really relate to Nicole or Belle, but they were sitting so close next to each other, who really cares? Aden: A pink lemonade for sweetheart. Aden: You seriously think that we should be mates? Geoff: Stranger things have happened. 3. The. Same. Bed. Yes, both Geoff and Aden miraculously have the same bed. Exactly the same. I do not even question the suggestiveness of this notion. It just is, and also adds to the idea that they would totally be comfortable if they were ever forced to share.

    Glee

Did you see Chris with those sai swords?! He was fierce! Oh my, the finale. I watched it about four, five ... six? times. I adore it so much. Key moments of awesome for me were: - Flashback to when Beth/Drizzle was created. Puck/Quinn. - Going around in a circle and saying what they will miss most about Glee. It felt very 'Breakfast Club'. In that, once Glee was over, things would return to how they were before *sadface*. - 'Don't Stop' in the car. Oh boy. *cries* - Finn's spiel about being a leader and then *kiss*. - "Solos you did or didn't get" - Poignant look at Kurt/Mercedes. - Now, I've had my issues with Schue and his teaching appropriateness throughout the season, but really, he has a passion for performing and he loves those kids. I can't fault him on that. - I was surprised to have Regionals so early in the episode, but so good! - "I'm a Winner and You're Fat" - Sue Sylvester never change. - Aural Intensity . - "We have something the other teams don't. Finn's dancing!" Finn's proud then confused look. - "Break a leg" "I love you". I've been on the Rachel/Jess ship for the entire back 9, but man that was adorable. - Faithfully Any Way You Want It/Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' Don't Stop Believin' - Bohemian Rhapsody editted with Quinn's labour was spectacular. And JGroff in a pink shirt and playing piano *hearts*. - I'm still kind of erked by Shelby taking Beth. She used Jesse to get to know Rachel only to decide she didn't want a grown up daughter, so now she takes the baby? Do not want. - "Did you love me?" "Yes. Especially now." Awwwwwwwwwwwww. - Emma going off at Figgins. Amazing! - Impromptu Will/Emma kiss. I'm not really on board this ship, but again, Glee - why so cute? - Mike and Matt - They speak! - Schue being like a dad to Finn. *puddle of tears on the floor* - I *hate* To Sir, With Love (the movie) so had reservations about liking the song. But Glee, how is it you can make any song good? - Sue voting for New Directions and giving them another year. Yay! I like that it was still a selfish motive, though. So yeah, pretty much all of it!

  18. Part Two 8. A: I wanted to tell you what he did to me, but I couldn’t. It’s easier to just push people away. I just felt so ashamed. B: Aden, I - A: I think that if my dad wasn’t such a pathetic drunk and actually looked out for me then, my grandfather wouldn’t have ... I hate my grandfather so much. And sometimes I wish he was still alive, so that I could just ... make him pay for what he did to me. Do you think I’m messed up? B: If that had happened to me, I’d feel the same way. A: See, now my dad wants me to help him. And I just don’t know what to do, Belle. -- 9. A: You’re amazing. I honestly can’t believe you would do this for me. B: I am the most incredible girlfriend. Remember. A: That’s true. A: I seriously don’t deserve you, you know that? B: Yeah, I know. Want to see what four thousand dollars looks like? A: Totally. That is hot. But, not as hot as what I’m working with. -- 10. A: Tell me one good reason why I shouldn’t do it! B: Please, please, please! Please Aden, don’t do this. If not for you, then do it for me. I love you. -- 11. -- 12. A: What do you want me to do? I can’t pretend like I don’t feel anything. I’m sick of this, Belle. I’m sick of playing these games. You know we’re meant to be together. B: No, I don’t. I don’t know anything. Aden, why are you doing this? A: Because, ever since that kiss in the car, I can’t get you out of my head. I’m supposed to be studying for my HSC but all I can think about is you. About being with you. You know we’re meant to be together. A: How good is this? You. Me. Your old fluffy dooner. I told you this was right, didn’t I? B: Yeah. Feels so right. -- 13. -- 14. B: You’re not leaving already are you? The party’s not that bad. Any one hooked up yet? A: It’s still only early. If you play your cards right ... You know. --
  19. Note: All colouring is mine, but caps can be used as bases for icons. Please do not copy coloured screencaps and claim as your own. -- Part One 1. A: Oh come on, don’t be like that. I know you want me. B: Is your brain really that small that you can tell yourself that and you actually believe it. A: I’m not a loser. B: Then stop acting like one. A: Look, whatever you think, Axel deserved what he got. B: I just don’t understand how you can be so brutal and not even feel a little bit sorry about it. A: All you need to know is that I had my own reasons. B: Well, are you going to tell me what they are? Well ... A: Not right now. Maybe another time. -- 2. A: That’s why you’ve been checking me out all night, yeah? B: You’re so full of yourself, it’s actually disgusting. A: Look, I’ve got eyes Belle, alright. And yours have been focused on me all night. B: I did you a favour last night and now you’re acting like a complete jerk. Just, get out. A: I guess some brekky is out of the question. B: Woah, woah. Window, you idiot, I don’t want anyone else finding out about this. A: No kiss? B: Go. A: But no, seriously. No kiss? B: No. Go. -- 3. A: You know you used me for my body. I feel so - so cheap. But you know, hey, I’ll get over it. B: It’s art, you idiot. A: See, I think you were perving. A: You know if I took a picture of you, it’d be about the person. A: You don’t have to stay. I’m big enough to look after myself. B: I know. Got nothing better to do. -- 4. B: Are you stalking me now? A: We didn’t get a chance to finish our little chat before. B: Yes, we did. What do you think you’re doing? A: What? I thought you might want another photo op. Where’s your camera? B: The photo joke is getting a little old, don’t you think? A: I’ll tell you what’s getting old. You pretending you don’t want me. B: What are you doing? A: I thought you might have liked a little bedtime story. B: I don’t even want to look at you right now. A: Is it because I’m wearing clothes? -- 5. B: What are you doing? I thought we agreed, no more climbing through my window. A: Sorry. Must have forgotten. B: You had better go before Irene comes home and finds you here. A: I knew you found me irresistible. Winner. -- 6. B: How often does your dad drink too much? A: I dunno. He’s done it for as long as I can remember. Every few years he falls off the wagon, and it always ends badly. B: Do you want to tell me about your grandad? A: Well, there’s nothing to tell, so. B: Does it have something to do with your dad’s drinking? A: Why would you think that? B: I don’t know. Was he a heavy drinker too? A: I’ve got to get back to work. B: Aden, why do you get so upset every time I mention him? -- 7. A: You are. B: I am, what? A: The best thing to ever happen to me. Seriously. --
  20. Gaden! Pretty colouring and cropping to excentuate the Gadenness .
  21. Letters to Juliet - I really enjoyed it. I find it funny how when he was on H&A he was just Chris Egan, now it's Christopher. But either way, he played the arrogant, sarcastic, British snob really well. I may be developing a little crush. Maybe .
  22. Thank you so much for the Gaden appreciation HAA Girl, Sabrina, Monique, Tahlia, Lise, CharlieBucktonFan and rubyxfan . You have no idea! I have a lot of pics saved, but send me some of your faves and I'll icon them for you . PM me, okay?
