Extended Summary

Robbo tells Colby that Jasmine was cut off before she could say anything other than that they were stationary. As they are pondering why the crooks aren’t on the move, Murray comes in with a report that there’s been an armed robbery at a chemist’s. Robbo and Colby realise that’s why they’ve stayed put, because the man who was shot needs medical treatment. At the hideout, Des berates Fitz for holding up the chemist. Fitz says they wouldn’t give him the drugs without a prescription. Des accuses Jasmine, who is treating Lenny, of knowing that would happen and trying to draw attention. Jasmine claims he could have got them easily from a hospital. Des goes to let the boss know. As he moves away, Jasmine smiles to herself.

Mackenzie approaches Willow at the surf club and asks if she’s heard any more about Colby or Jasmine. At that moment, Willow gets a call from Colby explaining about the call from Jasmine. He says he’s going to stay on so asks Willow to look after Bella. Mackenzie decides to go with her. Outside the Diner, Leah and Marilyn are wiping down tables. Alf approaches them and comments on Irene giving away coffee. Both Alf and Marilyn think she’s only pretending to be fine but Alf thinks it might be what she needs to get through.

Willow and Mackenzie find Bella at the Diner flat. They offer to stay with her but she wants to check on Irene so they decide to go with her. The trio head downstairs and Bella asks Irene about the jury. She tells them about the deadline and says she’s treating it like a normal day before offering them everything on the house. Alf, leaving, tells them not to argue. Bella isn’t sure that giving away food is normal but takes her up on the offer. Marilyn adds that there’s a dinner later. Willow asks Leah if Irene has lost the plot; Leah says she’s not sure but to just go with it.

Colby and Robbo check the security footage but know the car hasn’t left the area. Murray comes in with the list of what was stolen from the chemist’s. Robbo recognises it and realises it’s a message from Jasmine. At the hideout, Jasmine has improved Lenny’s condition but he’s not yet stable; she can’t remove the bullet and it’d be dangerous to move him. Des has orders to move out before the police find them but Fitz encourages him to stick to the plan and Jasmine asks for another half hour.

Bella checks with Irene who says things are all right if you’ve got people that care about you. Leah and Marilyn quietly discuss that it seems like the Last Supper but get the food out and prepare to close once the customers have gone. Mackenzie is shocked when Willow and Bella note Colby will probably go with the feds if they get news of where Jasmine is. Irene makes final preparations for the dinner. Mackenzie starts to go but Irene tells her to stay. A short time later, Leah, Marilyn, Willow, Bella and Mackenzie are finishing the meal with Irene. Mackenzie has to go since she’s working at Salt. Bella declines further food. Marilyn proposes a toast to Irene, who accepts it but then goes in the back. Leah follows her and she admits she just wants it to be over: She can’t put Bella through a retrial. She thanks Leah for being there for her.

Colby notes the car didn’t get as far as Reefton Lakes and he and Robbo speculate that they must be holed up somewhere private. Colby recalls the River Boys hiding in vacant houses and Robbo recalls that when he was undercover they went to out of the way places. Checking the map, Robbo notices the abandoned warehouse near the chemist’s. He and Colby brief a set of mixed federal and local officers, saying there’s at least three of them and Jasmine’s safety is their priority. Police cars descend on the warehouse and Robbo and Colby lead the officers in…but there’s no-one there, although some of the equipment has been left behind. Colby finds Jasmine’s wedding rings and Robbo gets a text saying “Too late.” Outside, Colby tries to talk strategy but Robbo just walks away.

Colby arrives at the Diner and tells the women that they were too late to find Jasmine. Bella gives him a hug and Willow suggests he goes and finds Mackenzie. He meets up with her outside the surf club. Although she wants to spend time with him, she tells him that Robbo’s upstairs. Robbo is sat looking at the wedding rings as Colby approaches him with beers. Colby tries to offer him reassurance but Robbo says he’s tired of doing it by the book. He’s going to do things the way he used to: Coulson was dealing drugs for Carter, so other people must be as well. Colby is shocked by Robbo’s plan to make dealers and junkies talk to him but Robbo refuses to listen to him.

Marilyn says her goodbyes. Willow and Bella also prepare to leave but Irene wants to talk to Willow so Leah walks Bella out. Irene tells Willow that if things don’t go her way she might have to sell the house: Even if she doesn’t go to jail, she could lose it in a civil suit. She tells Willow to have some plans in place for if that happens. Shortly after, Willow and Mackenzie chat outside the flat with Mackenzie reflecting on sending Colby after Robbo. Willow is rather stressed about Irene’s declaration: She realises she doesn’t have her own place or even a lease and is dependent on Irene. She says it’s a wake-up call.

Irene and Leah go for a walk on the beach. Irene notes that she’ll miss the everyday things and Leah tells her not to give up. Irene gets a phone call from her lawyer. After a brief chat, she tells Leah that the verdict’s in and they’ll find out tomorrow.
