Extended Summary

Tori is directing Nate in a yoga session on the beach but Nate doesn’t seem particularly into it and feels embarassed. He says he’d rather focus on her and ends up grabbing her in mid-move, wrestling her to the ground and kissing her. At the caravan park, Hunter and Olivia have received another rejection letter. Olivia is dispirited, recalling the number of professional couples at the last place they looked round. Hunter is more optimistic, pointing out they haven’t heard back from everyone yet.

Ash and Patrick go into the Diner. Ash is complaining about Irene not letting him see Luc as much as he’d like but Patrick is more understanding. Patrick thinks it’s time for him to move on: His rental’s up and he’s got a mate in the Territories who might need a jackaroo. Ash asks him to stick around and Patrick says he’ll need somewhere to stay. Shortly after, at the beach house, Kat is annoyed that Ash invited Patrick to stay there without asking her, especially since they’re moving out soon. Patrick listens from the hallway as Ash explains he’s worried he won’t see Patrick again if he leaves and Kat agrees. Patrick joins them: He only has two small bags. Ash shows him his room and Patrick thanks Kat.

Brody goes into the storeroom at Salt. Seeing his bag, he searches through it. Justin comes in and holds up the sachet, asking if it’s what he’s looking for and if he was hoping to get the dregs. He invites Brody to say it’s Lena’s, before concluding Brody was off his face during Terry’s visit. He orders Brody outside, where he asks why he did it, after what he said to Mason and what happened to their parents. Brody says Lena said it would help and he only did it twice and was going to throw it out. Justin wants him to get rid of Lena but Brody isn’t so sure, although he does accept he’s stuffed up.

Kat, Ash and Patrick are settling down. Ash reminisces about Patrick sneaking out to drink when he was thirteen and locking him in a wheelie bin once but Patrick claims not to remember. Ash accidentally calls him Luke. Kat wonders how he became a jackaroo and Ash recalls how everyone had to come to Patrick’s 10th birthday party dressed as a cowboy and he broke Lee Jameson’s nose for coming as a pirate. Patrick snaps that he doesn’t like to talk about the past. At the caravan park, Hunter has summoned Olivia: She thinks it’s another rejection but he says they’ve been accepted for a private rental, a two bedroom house across town. They can sign the lease and move in tomorrow. He admits he didn’t make it to the viewing but shows her some pictures that were sent to his phone. Alf comes along and they fill him in; he admits that he didn’t think they’d do it.

Tori and Nate go into the Diner. Nate considers the yoga a work-out while Tori sees it as a body and mind cleansing. Nate tries to invite her back to his but Justin turns up and tells Tori they have a problem. The two of them go down the beach where Tori is shocked to hear Brody’s taking cocaine, since he’s always been anti-drugs. Justin explains about the review. He says Brody has promised he won’t do it again but he never expected him to do it in the first place. Tori is very worried, since cocaine is highly addictive and a bad batch can be fatal. She ponders if they should tell Mason, since they need to keep an eye on Brody.

Kat encourages Ash to talk to Patrick: She thinks his way of handling things isn’t healthy. Patrick comes in and apologises but says those aren’t his memories anymore. Ash says he understands but Kat pushes the matter, wondering how Patrick can not be Luke but still be Ash’s brother. Patrick gets agitated and Ash cuts it short by suggesting they go for takeaway. He and Kat go to the Diner where Kat feels that Patrick isn’t dealing with whatever happened to him: The cracks are showing and he’s now living with her. Ash tells her to stop grilling Patrick and treat him like family.

Justin and Tori come into Salt and Brody quickly realises from their expressions that Tori knows. A woman comes in looking for Lena, saying she was told she could pick something up there. Brody tells her to leave. Tori says Lena’s dealing drugs out of there and Justin tells Brody he needs to get rid of the drugs and Lena. Brody, holding up his phone, says he is doing. At the beach house, Olivia and Hunter are packing while Olivia makes decorating plans. Nate sounds concerned when he learns they haven’t actually seen the new place. They go upstairs to pack as Tori arrives. She tells Nate about Brody and he recalls how quickly Sophie got addicted.

Ash and Kat arrive back at the farm house and Ash goes to put a DVD on. Patrick offers to help Kat put the food out but Kat says it’s fine. Patrick checks it’s okay for him to stay there. Kat says Ash’s family is her family but neither seem entirely reassured. Meanwhile, Justin is following Brody around and sees him get a text from Lena. It reads “No hard feelings. Do you want more pick me ups?” but Brody claims it is about her final pay. After Justin has gone, Brody rings Lena saying he’s in and wondering when they can meet.

Next morning, Hunter and Olivia are heading down the street to their new home but are stopped short when they find the garden is full of rubbish. Seeing the number on the letterbox (which is broken from having too much mail stuffed into it), Olivia is relieved that it says 8, not 28, but Hunter solemnly picks up the 2 that has fallen off. Olivia suggests it might be awesome inside but they find a pile of newspapers on the doorstep and inside the walls are dirty and the furniture broken. Meanwhile, Patrick is asleep as Ash calls out that breakfast is ready. He goes in and wakes Patrick up but Patrick grabs him in a choke hold. Kat comes in and shouts at Patrick, who releases Ash. All of them look shocked.
