Extended Summary

At Salt, Olivia picks up her pizza as Mason is leaving. They exchange a flirtatious greeting. Brody playfully teases his brother about it. As Mason leaves, he passes Hunter and Zac who sit in for lunch. Zac catches his son gazing in Olivia’s direction/ It’s clear, Hunter still likes Olivia…

Back at the Summer Bay House, Alf bears witness to VJ’s interrogation of Billie over whether or not Mick is the baby’s father. Billie is adamant that she doesn’t know one way or the other.

Ash informs Billie that he’s leaving town for a couple of days and that he’ll only go if she’s fine with it. She assures him that first baby’s are always late, and for him to go. Feeling guilty, she reveals that she told VJ another lie and Ash urges her to come clean.

Back at home, Billie tries to convince VJ that she lied for the good of their baby He dismisses it, saying she lied for herself and when she reaffirms her love for him, he tells her it’s too late.

Over at the Warehouse, Tori remains in the clutches of Ranae. She escaped house arrest using the dirt she has on people in high places. Tori demands to see Justin – to which, Ranae ominously tells her – that he’ll be along soon. Tori waits until two of Ranae’s men aren’t watching, and tries to make a break for it, only to be grabbed by another man.

At the Farm, Evelyn is delighted when she realises that all the details for the festival are finalised, but she refuses to relax. Kat turns up and questions the both of them about the fire at the Caravan Park. As she’s leaving to investigate further, she runs into Ash who asks her to look after Billie while he’s out of town. The pair share a kiss, but their future remains uncertain.

Phoebe and Justin celebrate as the electricity for the festival is turned on and the whole place lights up. After some initial hesitation, Justin tells Phoebe that he loves her and that he’s not going to let her down again. Phoebe wants him to prove it, and asks him to make sure he’s there for her song tomorrow. He promises.

At the Warehouse, the police station, Kat looks over the photos of the fires, and physical evidence. Meanwhile, a dark figure heads towards the festival, whips out their ‘ace of spades’ lighter, and grabs a few cans of petrol.

The next morning, VJ gets home and Billie asks where he was, but he dismisses her. Zac comes down from upstairs and asks Hunter about his HSC results. He reveals they’re just as they both anticipated – not good. Over at the Beach House, however, Olivia and Irene are ecstatic to learn that her hard work paid off. Irene assures Olivia that her parents would be proud.

Justin is discussing seeing Ava again with his brothers, when he gets an odd text from Tori – a picture of her shoes. Although Brody suggests she must’ve had a big night, Justin is suspicious…

Billie tells Phoebe that VJ now knows the truth about Mick. Overhearing this, VJ is once again angered to learn that Billie has lied once again.

At the Beach House, Irene grows anxious when she hears noises and realises the power isn’t on. She checks that the doors are locked… She’s startled when Darcy comes home. Irene rushes out, telling Darcy not to open the door for anyone. She heads over to the police station and tells Kat that she needs to know where Mick is. Kat assures her that there are no reports of Mick skipping town.

Evelyn opens the festival, ‘Summer Grooves’ and introduces the special guest – none other than Jessica Mauboy. Hunter and Zac run into Olivia at the festival. Zac congratulates her on her HSC before heading off. Olivia consoles Hunter about his bad result. Mason watches on jealously at the Salt stall when Justin comes over and reveals that Tori never made her flight…. Justin is disturbed to receive a call from Tori’s phone – it’s Ranae… she demands he come alone, so they can say goodbye to Tori together… Left with little choice, Justin leaps into his car and speeds off, leaving a confused and disappointed Phoebe behind.
