Denny freaks out after sleeping with Ash. Matt resurfaces but won’t talk to anyone.
Extended Summary
Denny freaks out the next morning after staying at Ash’s place. She blows him off and he’s dumbfounded. She talks to Hannah about the situation and rushes to a conclusion – she should break up with Ash. Ash runs into Andy, who tells him that any girl worth it is hard work and Ash should chase after Denny. Hannah advises Denny she may have reacted too strongly, so when Ash comes to Denny’s, they decide to forget the whole thing and start over.
Matt finally resurfaces, looking worse for wear, hiding things under his mattress. Evie tries to talk to him at the diner but he snaps at her. After a chat with Josh, Evie sees that Matt really needs a friend right now since Sasha left. Evie decides to wait for Matt to come home and catches him with a bottle of booze. She confronts him about his self – destructive attitude. He immediately gets defensive, not ready to talk, so he pushes her away.
Andy is elated that Hannah’s recovery is going so well, especially with her managing to stand. He’s determined to make her proud of him as well by completing his personal trainer qualification. Josh is helping him study, even though Andy is a pain to teach. Josh tries food rewards which not surprisingly works!
