Maddy decides she’s going to fight her cancer again. Brax gets injured and lands in solitary. Kyle has a surprise for Phoebe.
Extended Summary
The Colour Run is just about to start when Maddy finally turns up. Roo & Oscar are ecstatic. Maddy decides she’d like to walk the race so Oscar, Roo & Alf join her. Later on John, Marilyn & Jett join the walking party but Roo is worried Maddy is pushing too much. Maddy, looking exhausted, has a fall during the race. Roo suggests maybe they should get a car the rest of the way but Maddy insists she finishes. She’s finally realised that quitting as soon as things get tough isn’t going to help her. She’s going to fight. Maddy finishes the race and the crowd roars just as they all get covered in colour!
Ricky goes to visit Brax and runs into Ash. What’s he doing here? The gaol suddenly goes into lock down so neither can get in. Unbeknownst to them, it’s because of the brawl that started between Brax & Gunno. The Guards break up the brawl but Brax has been badly hurt. One of the guards presses him for who’s responsible but Brax won’t be a snitch. It lands Brax in solitary confinement. Ash talks to a gaol guard on the phone posing as Brax’s lawyer; he finds out about the fight but decides to keep Ricky in the dark.
Kat challenges Nate to race her in the Colour Run. Meanwhile Chris tries to start over with Kat by suggesting they go out for coffee. If nothing is going on between her & Nate then what’s her excuse? Kat is happy to oblige but gets Chris to fake an injury during the Colour Run to slow down Nate. Chris thinks he’s in with a chance until Kat brushes him off and he realises he’s been played. Nate & Kat make a quick escape after the race for some steamy alone time.
Kyle & Phoebe head off to setup Angelo’s for the Colour Run after party. Matt is nowhere to be found, probably still sulking over Sasha, so there’s no entertainment for the night. Kyle suggests Phoebe should step up; it’s been long enough and it’s time for Phoebe to get back into music. After seeing Maddy at the finish line and everyone supporting her, Phoebe gains the confidence she needs and decides she’s going to sing. The concert goes off and even Kyle joins in with his guitar. Everyone is on a high then all of a sudden Kyle takes over the mic and turns to Phoebe – will you marry me?
