Leah’s awake but Zac feels guilty about giving up on her. Will Maddy turn up to the Colour Run or will it all be for nothing? Brax is attacked while in gaol.
Extended Summary
VJ is packing his things ready to move out and leave Zac to move on with his life, when Zac gets a call from the hospital – Leah’s awake. The two are overjoyed as the news spreads through the Bay, but Zac can’t help feel guilty that he was about to give up on Leah & VJ. He feels her should tell Leah but VJ tells him it’s not the time. Leah is told by her doctor to take it easy on the road to recovery, there’s no predicting what will happen after her head injury. Leah’s scared but Zac reassures Leah that he’s there for her.
Spencer learns about Maddy’s set back; the chemo’s not working. He decides to put all his energy into making the Colour Run go smoothly. Oscar visits Maddy and tries to give her a pep talk but Maddy says she’s done fighting. She can’t face everyone at the Colour Run either so she’s not coming. Oscar doesn’t know what else to do but Roo convinces him to talk to her again. Oscar tells Maddy that she needs to stop wallowing and realise how many people care about her and can help her through this.
Ricky tells Nate she’s nervous about visiting Brax. Meanwhile in gaol, Gunno threatens Brax over his association with Ash. Before he knows it, Brax is cornered by Gunno and his mates. Brax gets punched and a brawl quickly ensues – will Brax get out of this alive?
