Extended Summary
Ash notices a sexy young woman move in to the caravan park. She gives him zero attention, but she’s certainly caught Ash’s eye. Chilling out with Brax, Ash starts raving about the mystery girl. They see her walk back towards her van and Ash gives her a wave. Brax tells Ash that at least this woman isn’t off limits like Denny. When the woman emerges from her caravan, she’s wearing a police uniform. Brax looks at Kat and tells Ash that he’s taking back what he just said: Ash should never, ever go there.
John is furious with Jett after finding out he stole the Polaris and crashed it into a tent at the caravan park. Wanting to protect his friend, Jett refuses to tell anyone that VJ was the mastermind behind the joyride. John tells Jett that they’ll be swapping roles until Jett learns his lesson – now John gets to be a carefree teenager and Jett has a list of errands. Jett goes to the caravan park and presents the owners’ of the tent with a brand new tent. The new cop, Kat, sees John spying on Jett from behind some trees and asks him what he’s up to. John assures her that he’s not up to any funny business – he’s just making sure his son is following his orders. Wanting to make Jett feel responsible for his actions, John enlists Kat for a little stunt. Kat turns up in her police uniform and issues Jett with a warning. After Kat leaves, Marilyn sees how terrified Jett is, and gets John to come clean. It was a setup: he’s not really in trouble with the police. Jett finally admits that he only stole the Polaris to try to cheer up VJ.
Ash is sent the link to a disturbing video that’s going viral on the internet: it’s a tape of Neive’s assistant taking advantage of a scantily-clad Phoebe at her launch party. Ricky goes to the hospital to break the bad news to Phoebe. When Ricky shows her the video, Phoebe feels sick. Later, Neive turns up at the Braxton’s wanting to go into damage control. She tells Phoebe that she’s got her lawyers looking at whether they have grounds to sue, and assures her that she’s fired her sleazy assistant. But then Neive changes tact: maybe they can capitalise on the publicity generated by the video? Ricky overhears Neive’s suggestion. After Neive leaves, Ash, Brax and Ricky all point out to Phoebe that Neive has been behaving very shiftily. Was anyone other than Neive’s assistant responsible for drugging Phoebe? Brax gets Phoebe to arrange a meeting with Neive. Phoebe arrives to talk by Neive with Ash, Brax and Ricky as back up. They interrogate her about the launch night, demanding to know why she hasn’t involved the police. Little by little, Phoebe starts to doubt Neive’s innocence. Neive tells them to prove that she was involved. Phoebe severs her relationship with her and tells Neive she’s calling the police. Soon after, Kyle comes out of his coma. Phoebe warns him about the video but Kyle assures her that he’s just happy that she’s okay. Just as Brax breathes a sigh of relief that Kyle has woken up, the new police officer turns up. She’s here to arrest Darryl Braxton for the murder of Dean Sanderson.
