Saw the preview and Lincoln was in it.... had to see if I was right :)

WILL these pictures of Underbelly Razor being filmed on the streets of Sydney yesterday help Channel 9 in the ratings war?

The once-leading network has been hammered so far this year and was swamped again on Tuesday by Seven's Australia's Got Talent (1.8 million viewers) and MasterChef on Ten (1.2 million).

Nine's answer is the 1920s true story about rival drug-dealing madames Kate Leigh and Tilly Devine, who put fear into Darlinghurst's streets with gangs of thugs armed with barber razors.

Yesterday Lincoln Lewis, looking an absolute period spiv, shot some scenes as his co-stars had their costumes attended to.

Lewis's character, maybe a local enforcer, will feature heavily in the series detailing the truth of Sydney back then: a cesspit of cocaine, prostitution and gangsters. How things haven't changed.

Since appearing on “Home and Away” Brisbane born Lincoln Lewis has made quite a name for himself landing leading roles in feature films including “Tomorrow, When the War Began” and “Bait:3D” alongside Julian McMahon.

And according to reports Lewis has landed himself a re-occurring role in the fourth series instalment of Nine’s “Underbelly” franchise, “Underbelly: Razor”, which will be set in the 1920s. Lincoln is set to start working on his new project in three weeks.

Yesterday Lewis took it to his Twitter page to share his excitement tweeting “Doing a new show for the next month and they just shaved most of my hair off!!!!! Never had this before aahhhhh”.

Later Lincoln showed off his new look at the Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic at Dee Why Beach in Sydney, Australia
