xGlowingAngelx Posted July 13, 2010 Report Share Posted July 13, 2010 I don't know why I bothered voting in this, because I rarely watch soaps these days, apart from H&A, but my previous long term devotion to Hollyoaks makes me want to see them win things, even if the show is such a sinking ship right now. So I voted Best Actor: Ashley Taylor Dawson (all 3 of the Oaks boys nominated are fabulous, but Ashley winning an award is so far overdue, it's ridiculous.) Best Actress: Carley Stenson. (As above, an actress long overdue of an award. This may be her last chance, with her leaving and all. On a seperate note, I also LOVE Amanda Donohoe.) Best Young Actor: Ellis Hollins! Best Newcomer: Marc Silcock. (I haven't seen enough of the two Hollyoaks boys to care, but I did adore Marc's character in his Hollyoaks days and he's a great actor, so I voted on that.) Funniest Performance: Ashley Taylor Dawson. (Whilst Bronagh is a great actress and Cheryl seems like one of those characters with a real heart of gold, I find it hard to care too much.) Sexiest Male: Ashley Taylor Dawson. (I don't find him all that attractive though, but none of the nominees are all that sexy.) Sexiest Female: Carley Stenson. (Because the woman is absolutely BEAUTIFUL.) Best Exit: Loui Batley. (I think it's fairly obvious Charlie Clements will probably win that, purely because the episode went live. I wasn't all that bothered by it, and was highly put off by the moving hand. ) Sarah's parachute death was amazing. Best Wedding: I didn't see any of the others besides the Oaks ones, and they didn't move me at all. I went for Tony and Cindy's though, because I love Nick Pickard!!! Best Dramatic Performance: A tough one. Stephanie Waring really proved herself throughout the Holly storyline, but Carley is just such an Amazing actress. I went for Carley though, because it's Carley. Best Stunt: Sarah Barnes' Parachute Death. (Again, I expect Bradleys death to walk away with it, but Sarah's death would be SUCH a worthy winner.) Best Daytime Star: Ada!!!! (Thank god for that category. Such a comfort zone.) Best Daytime Soap: Home and Away. Best Drama: Don't watch any, but I went for Casualty, for nostalgia reasons. Best Soap: Hollyoaks (Only because I'm biased.) I think Emmerdale would be a worthy winner though, because from the bits I have seen, it's been really good.
