Hope Charlie changes her mind and Changelo get back together (Even tho i don't like what Angelo did ) Angelo, bless him. You can tell he is so sorry for what he did, and all he wants is to make it up to Charlie. But I can see where Charlie is coming from, not wanting to talk to him. More soon please Danni! Quote

freckleface Posted July 23, 2010 Report Posted July 23, 2010 Oh my days! I missed a lot on my two-week holiday!!! On the other hand though, I got mass fiction reading time Right. I can't believe he cheated on Charlie! Especially with that ShellyB**ch! But I can see that he really regretted it, and he was completely drunk at the time... Its all Shelly's fault, I mean, she knew he was married and he had kids yet she still fooled around with him! And then to come up to him afterwards and ask him to call her! The complete stirrer! I'm glad Ruby slapped her. I hope Charlie is able to forgive him, though I understand that at the moment she doesn't want to be near him. I feel really sorry for the kids, especially Ava as she's old enough to understand whats going wrong. It was really heartbreaking when you wrote that scene between Charlie and Ava though it made me smile when Charlie cheered her up by tickling her. I can't believe she's going to have a termination though! And it does seem as if she's almost trying to spite Angelo! I hope Ruby is able to get hold of him before Charlie can do anything stupid. I know she doesn't want the baby, and never has, but you kust know that she will regret it if she gets rid of the baby. They say you don't know what you love until its gone. Maybe Angelo cheating is a sign that they are not in the best position to be bringing another child into the world. Especially if the only reason Charlie is keeping it is for Angelo. Although I can understand Ruby's resistence to the idea, it's really not for her to decided. It's Charlie's body. She can't be forced to do something she doesn't want to. Sorry I don't mean to sound like a depressing sod. I'm just speaking as someone who's known someone who was actually in that same position as Charlie is in the story. Fantastic story...keep up the good work. I'm really enjoying the Charlie/Ruby dynamic you have going and I love the fact that you've made Angelo the villian so to speak. In almost every story I read he's like a knight in shining armour and it gets kind of old. I love that you're taking the risk and going against the typical cliches. I'm really enjoying this story. Can't wait for the next update. Quote

I can't believe she would have an abortion just to get back at him, she would be emotionally scarred for life and I don't know if Angelo could forgive her although it will force Ruby to talk to him which could be good. I loved how Ava and Ben were so happy to see Angelo, and they acted that it was just like a normal day where he would take them out, I'm glad it hasn't been too disruptive for them. I loved Charlie's reaction to hearing about Ruby's slap, that really made me laugh and it really shows that she cares about Angelo. The Charlie/Ruby/Callum stuff was lovely, although I agree that Charlie is way too young to be called Granny Great work as usual Quote

I know Charlie is hurt and angry and I can't blame her but she can't get back at Angelo by getting a termination. Ruby is right she will regret it because she will miss the baby and it'll ruin every chance of a reunion with Angelo. I hope Ruby will manage to contact Angelo in time. He won't be happy, that's for sure. More please. Quote
twinkletoesjess Posted July 25, 2010 Author Report Posted July 25, 2010 I really loved this chapter. Im glad that Angelo managed to get there even if it was too late and he shouted at Charlie. I really liked that it was at the very last minute that Charlie changed her mind and that she did lots of thinking before going into the room. Angelo made me laugh whilst shouting at Charlie, Poor Charlie trying to tell him she couldnt go through with it only to get shouted at more. I really liked Angelo's suggestion, they do need time away from everything to try and sort things out. I liked what Angelo said about them being even if she did abort the baby but him not being able to forgive her for it. Charlie telling Angelo about the scan was a lovely gesture, glad that she seems to be able to put there differences aside for the baby. Poor Morag I bet she is wondering what is going on with Ruby rushing out like that. I really loved the last paragraph, it was perfect Quote

And I am SO GLAD Charlie DIDN'T go through with the termination. Quote “Angelo” Charlie shouted and Angelo stopped walking and turned to face her. “Yeah?” “My 12 week scan. It’s on Saturday at 3 if you want to be there” Charlie said and Angelo nodded lightly as a smile appeared on his face. “Yeah, of course I will” Angelo said before turning around and walking back to his car, the smile still present on his face. Charlie looked down at her stomach as she rubbed it gently. A smile appeared on her face as she thought about her unborn baby. “Maybe I do feel something for you after all” Charlie whispered as the smile upon her face grew bigger. So perfect! I loved it!
