rising-flame Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 I remember reading on a forum ages ago (a craft one not this one) about people who send letters to soldiers to cheer them up. My best friend's brother is going on tour to Afghanistan next year and it got me thinking that there might be soldiers out there who don't have anyone to write to them who would appreciate a letter. LAURZY! Posted December 23, 2008 Report Share Posted December 23, 2008 Yeah, my brother wenty to Iraq this time last year and he said letters helped to keep their spirits up. I dont really know of any schemes but on Facebook there are groups which enable people to chat to soldiers that are currently on tour.
