Wow. I just watched it and wow. I thought it was superbly written and acted, the story lines were engaging, the characters were sympathetic (meaning that I could relate to them, not necessarily just that I liked them) and the emotions were well portrayed. Definitely going to keep watching it.

Just to let fans know, City Homicide is back on next Monday, 30th June. About time, I've missed this show but now I have to pick between this and Good News Week. I'm not impressed.

I've had to sacrifice the last 12 or so GNWs for Sea Patrol and Desperate Housewives (watching one, taping the other), so it's kind of disappointing that this will clash with it too. But it's one of the best crime dramas I've ever seen, so I can live with that. I hope though that they shake up the main cast a bit this season, maybe they could make Sparkesy and Hatzic regulars.

I don't have a VCR. Mother in Law does, but I don't know if it's worth the trouble. I might just have to flick in between the ads. *sigh* Why are they doing this to me?
