Here's a little teaser: Somehow, everyone, or more precisely, the women in his life were acting really crazy at the moment. First, Tracey nearly kills herself. Then, Clare runs away without a word and in the process, nearly knocks him down. ‘Why do I get the feeling that I would have a lot of explaining to do?’ Peter thought to himself He knew that he was to blame for this but he also knew that Clare wasn’t so petty as to have allowed what he had accidentally let slipped at the hospital. ‘Now I know exactly how it feels to have a lover walk out on you’ Tracey thought to herself.
