I'm going to get either photoshop or paintshop pro today and I was wondering which one would be better. Can someone please tell me from their experience which one is better?

I have used both programmes, and I would say Photoshop. It's a bit hard to use if you're new at it, but it's really not that hard to use if you just try out different stuff and get to know the programme a little. I don't like paintshop pro that much, but that's just my opinion.

I use Photoshop CS2 by the way

In my experience, Photoshop would be a better option. Not only do I find the software easier to use, but I have also found that there are many more tutorials for Photoshop users and more users to ask for advice.

I agree there are way more tuts on PS than PSP. Personally I think you should go with PS.

Amy, how much was paintshop in euros?

I actually downloaded a free trail to see how I liked it. Are you planning on buying PSP?
