Fizz Posted July 27, 2006 Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 A benefit gala evening celebrating the Swing Era of the 30’s and 40’s, a sumptuous dinner, together with a 12-piece band supported by talented stylists of the period will take place at The Gold Coast Convention Centre on the 30th of September 2006. Hosted by Award Winning Actress Paula Duncan, current Logie Winner Paul O'Brien and international speaker Shelley Sykes, other celebrity guests include Lara Cox (Heartbreak High) and Spencer McClaren (The Secret Life of Us). The Big Band Night Charity is the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Film Producer Phillip Avalon will host a Celebrity Memorabilia Auction donating all proceeds to the NBCF. Also promoted at this special event will be the music CD PINK SWING - a unique Jazz/Swing compilation featuring artists such as James Morrison, Vince Jones and Kate Ceberano.
