Morning Si Hun, do you fancy a sicky Headache its free to a good home. Anyone!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Tis ok, Di. You can keep it! I'm sure I'll have one Sunday morning though, so I'll remember your kind offer and send you that one by email.

Mornin', Auntie Di! I see you lurking!!

I don't really feel the need or urge at the moment, Liz. Can't really think of anything to change it to! I did once know someone with an email address of WaftyCrank, which I thought was hilarious, but probably inappropriate here! Someone else I know has an email addy of DontMither, which I quite like.. reminds me of my roots!

Times they are a-changing!

Bye bye, iluvgyspsynash! Welcome, Liz!
-
Which reminds me of an amusing story I heard about a dyslexic lady who wandered into what she thought was Marks & Spencer's in Soho.

You need to get more sleep, mate! Seriously, what's up?
-
Spot on! Think I'm the just about only person I know who doesn't own a DVD player!! Don't watch that many movies, etc, so never felt the need to buy one! Anyway, on the subject of moderation and nonsensical posts, I've just responded to two posts in the 'What time do you go to bed?' thread: So you sleep for less than a minute? Eh?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I've got a good few DVDs to be watching over the coming months! All in all (counting the number of DVDs in each boxset), I have received 49 DVDs this Xmas. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Would anyone like to hazard a guess as to how many DVDs I own? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 25??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong!

-- Sexuality is fluid; whether you're gay, or you're straight, or you're bisexual, you just go with the flow -- Shane - The L Word (from Liz's signature) Wise words there. I tend to see sexuality as a spectrum, rather than black, white and (several shades of) grey.

I'm not saying that I particularly want to be a mod, just that certain members (and their behavior) give me the urge. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Me too, Liz. *Sighs*

I've always liked it (your username), Liz. At least it wasn't **iluvgypsynash%%$** or something! I'd like to change my name to imthebossestnbiggesthomenawayfanintheworldevasodonttellmetousespagorwoteveritsca lledsothere
-
Perhaps you unwittingly started a trend?! If I chose an 'i love' username, it would have to be changed weekly! Hmm, you are one of the long-standing members so it would be hard to imagine you as anyone other than ILGN or Liz. Di's name change was no problem, Majohn's and Jess's I've got used to, but F'Eck's will take a while to adapt to - especially as we have a Lozza, and I thought it was her! Now who was the fifth member to change their name this week?
-
Had a feeling you'd say that, Liz. What name would you (hypothetically) go for? Liz?

Sounds good, Dan - and long overdue. I know some people just don't get the 'SPAG' rants, but to me it's just being polite and sensible to make an effort when posting a message for all to see. Anyone can make typos and spelling mistakes, and I'd hate to see people pounced on or victimised for a minor mistake, but it's when people blatantly ignore requests to stop posting in txt spk or without any punctuation at all that I get frustrated.
-
Please use some SPAG. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Seconded. However, we are wasting our time, I'm sure!

Oh dear.... UK: Man Found Dead as Coldest Weather in 10 Years Bites Source: AOL News Police fear a man in his 40s found dead on the steps of West Bromwich Town Hall froze to death as the wintry weather promises to bring more heavy snow. The current cold snap is "saving the worst to last'', according to forecasters as a number of places recorded some of the coldest daytime temperatures for several years. Some regions saw the temperature rise no higher than minus 7C (19F) even by 4pm on Thursday. North East England was particularly badly hit with the thermometer failing to pass that mark at Teesside Airport and Redesdale in Northumberland. One of the first victims of the cold weather was a man in his 40s found dead on the steps of West Bromwich Town Hall, police said. They feared he had frozen to death. PA WeatherCentre spokesman Paul Knightley said: "Many places could get a couple of inches of snow and there could be up to four inches in East Anglia, the East Midlands, north east England and Scotland. "It's going to be pretty awful in the Scottish Highlands as winds will be strengthening. They could reach 35mph, creating blizzard conditions. "This cold snap is saving the worst to last, but as we move through Friday the snow will turn to rain and by Saturday it will be milder, but windy.'' The Highways Agency advised drivers to check weather forecasts before setting out on journeys. But few people seemed keen to venture out, with the RAC reporting very quiet roads as many people continued their Christmas holidays or worked from home.

Nice to see the Golden Oldies are still alive, anyway! We've had a pleasant bit of banter tonight!
-
Nite Jess!! Glad I'm not too scary, Dan!
-
Psychic powers eh, Jess? Something scary happned in a chat room the other night. I haven't posted my surname anywhere on my profile, but we were discussing my nickname Si-Co and this girl straightaway told me my surname!
