Some weird-as colouring was used here and I'm not even sure if I like it. Some of them are a bit dark, but *shrugs*. You can pick/choose/ignore as you see fit.

Here you go, Laura. This link will take you to the post of the Romeo/Ruby icons. Apparently they were on page 517. I might even make some more of that pairing, because I've got a bit of different colouring to try out. So keep an eye out for those coming soon, maybe. Thanks so much for the comments on the very late Christmas icons. I hope you all had splendid holidays, and are still enjoying the break .

Okay, here we go. Christmas icons ala Jen featuring couples of the 2011 season. These are all uploaded individually so please save and re-upload if you wish to use any of them. Additionally, if you want to request specific characters/couples/screencaps for the middle then please do .

I was going to! But then I wasn't really inspired and couldn't decide what I wanted to do. Do I just stick Santa Hats on them? Or like I normally do, where I do "All I Want for Christmas is ..."? If anyone wants some, please let me know. (Even though Christmas is this Sunday. Oop.) Yeah, I love that kinda idea! But seriously, Jen, like you said, Christmas is this Sunday so don't be pushed to make or you don't even have to make them at all! I'm totally fine either way! There's still time, so I'll probably end up doing something even if no one wants to use them. Which would you prefer - Santa hats or All I Want for Christmas?

Oh, I completely recognise that Klainers are spoilt rotten for screentime and interaction, compared with other ships. I'm still a fan of Puckleberry too, probably more than Finchel to be honest. The only reason I'm a bit miffed about the scene getting cut is because we had those promo pics, that indicated it would be there, and then suddenly it wasn't. If they hadn't released the shots then I probably wouldn't have cared. I want all the Blaine/Sam/Mike friendship forever. Also, Blaine/Rachel. (Have you seen the thing going around tumblr where Rachel and Blaine are siblings?!)

I've lost track of the number of times I've watched Let it Snow! It is just so old-school Hoolywood glamour, and I keep having flashbacks to BICO, and how they were just firends then, and now they are a couple and on tv, and also 'best friends and holiday roommates'. *Happy sigh* The whole Christmas special was amazing, and was - quite literally - The Kurt and Blaine Show. I have no objections whatsoever. I adore Christmas episodes, purely for the fact that I can go into it without worrying about the plot. It was so easy and straightforward, and also heart-warming. I adore the Sam/Rory friendship, and really hope that continues. Still bitter the box scene was cut.

Oh, wow. Thank you so much for all your kind comments Laura, Cecil, Lore, Lesley, Carina, Sabrina, Zoe and QA .
-
Oh, gosh. You are all too kind. But I appreciate all your comments so much. As always, all icons are up for saving/snagging so long as you upload them yourself and credit would be nice .

Thank you so much Zoe, Cecil, Dingo, Kirsten, Sabrina, Carina, Laura, QA and Stephanie. Despite the current Dex/April situation on the show I still have ridiculous feelings about them being all adorable and couply *sigh*. The best part of that relationship was definitely Dex pining for April and not being about to do anything about Xavier making a move as well. I also have serious writer's block, so y'know. If you wanted to leave prompts for one-shots then I wouldn't be opposed to that either .

^ This Wednesday is a repeat (Journey) so I assume that they will show repeats until they decide to put the new episodes back on.

^ See, I'm fully on Shelby's side with this one. Quinn only wants Beth back because she thinks that by getting Beth, her life has to be better than what it currently is. Quinn has problems, and suddenly aquiring a baby full-time isn't going to solve that. Shelby is equipped and ready and suitable, and loves Beth more than anything. I want Puck to be involved, he is so good with her, but Quinn doesn't have Beth's best interests at heart, and that should be the priority. It'll be interesting to see where the show goes with it, because it is a comedy, so it can't get too dark and gloomy with legal battles and things like that. I wonder if they've actually thought this through ... I sucks that Australia won't be showing any more new episodes on tv until 2012. This happened last year, where we got the Christmas episode in February, because Ten took it off for the summer. So upset. And they wonder why people download the episodes online rather than watching them on tv! I need Perfect, like yesterday. So many Klaine/Santana feelings.

Thank you Carina, Zoe, Cecil, Dingo, Lore, Laura, and Stephanie . I'm getting emotional over Darren being back with the Starkids and performing with them in Boston, so I'm trying to distract myself.

Okay, I think I can string some words together to make a proper sentence. Can I say, off the bat, how much I adored the episode. Like, I don't think there was anything can I could fault. Except maybe the fact that Finn ended up having some sort of pity sex with Rachel? But I don't know, I don't consider them the most functional of couples. My favourite scene wasn't even what you are probably thinking -- that's not to say the final montage with the yellow lighting and slight blurriness and interlocking fingers and shy smiles and touching noses wasn't wonderful, because it was -- but was in fact the very first Kurt/Blaine scene. In Blaine's bedroom, with Kurt lying on his bed and Blaine dancing like the giant dork he is, and Kurt, who has come so far since Sexy (I choose to belive that episode never happened, I see no baby penguin), Kurt just comes out with the idea of ripping each other's clothes off and getting dirty. And Blaine's reply is just, 'of course!' They are just so comfortable around each other, and this is the first time since Original Song that we've seen them be alone, and not at the Lima Bean or at McKinley or Dalton where people might see them or judge them. This is some sort of sanctuary where they can just be Kurt and Blaine, and actually be as flirty and touchy as they want. I totally wasn't expecting the kiss that followed "Because of the layers?"/"Because of the layers." (which was seriously so flirty, I died of the adorable), but it was so candid and sweet and something that Blaine just does when no one's around. I have missed the Warblers so much. And now Nick is singing lead and Jeff is jumping on furniture and Sebastian is very attractive, but I never really saw him as a threat to Kurt/Blaine. He's just this other option, and maybe Blaine considers, just for a moment, whether he's supposed to be attracted to Sebastian like that. Whether, he shouldn't just have eyes for Kurt, because honestly, how many people find their soul mates in high school. I thought the scene with Blaine, Sebastian and Kurt was so awkward and amazing, with Kurt being all smiley and lovey towards Blaine and simultaneously shooting daggers at Sebastian and being the one to say yes to the gay bar. The bar was also some of the most wonderful stuff I've ever scene, especially the moment between Kurt and Karofsky, where it seems like Kurt totally hold anything against Karofsky and instead, they are both looking to the future. Blaine's dorky dancing returns! He's always going to be my favourite. Kurt just leapt off his stool and pushed his way between Blaine and Sebastian, because let's face it, Blaine is too oblivious to actually figure that Sebastian wants anything from him. Blaine doesn't see him as anything to worry about, so why should Kurt? "This is the best night of my life. I want to live here and make art and help people." I seriously adore Blaine. I can't love him any more. And then things change so fast from being slightly tipsy and handsy to Kurt yelling and Blaine not getting it. Blaine wants to be something he thinks Kurt wants, and Kurt is trying to prove that he's better than Sebastian, and everything just falls apart. I was so emotional when Blaine walked away, and Kurt was left by himself. Heaven forbid if they ever actually break up. I wouldn't survive. The auditorium scene was so beautiful, with the shadows and them being alone and hands and hearts and Blaine telling Kurt straight out that he doesn't see anything in Sebastian. I also loved that Kurt brought up Rachel and the last time Blaine got drunk, because Blaine does do stupid things, but Kurt is also in love with him -- faults and all. That kiss was so sweet and "You take my breath away", and Blaine really just wants Kurt to be proud of him. And I get the feeling he doesn't get that very often at home, what with the tears in his eyes and quivering voice, and that means more than anything else. I cannot express how much I liked the fact that it was Kurt who suggested that they go to Blaine's house. Because Kurt is not some fragile petal that's incapable of making up his own mind. Kurt knows what he wants, and he wants Blaine. In every sense of the word. Other things -- there were other things happening in this episode, right? -- the lack of Sue, Schue and Mercedes meant that I didn't have the urge to punch anyone in the face, which is a nice change. West Side Story was incredible, as was all the music, and how it was interwoven into the story, as opposed to using it side-by-side to the plot, it was actually part of it. I don't necessarily think Finn and Rachel did the right thing, but I was so impressed with Cory in that last scene where he had to come to the realisation that his dream wasn't going to come true and he would have to come up with a new one. That was brilliantly done, and this is the Finn that I really like. Overall, I've watched this episode so many times, just for all the coupley moments between Kurt and Blaine, and enjoying the fact that the episode wasn't even about 'the sex' but two people realising that they are meant to be together, no matter what. *Happy sigh*

Never mind his face, what about his arms?!? Seriously, he's hiding some guns under those t-shirts he wears. It was very distracting screencaping and editing that last lot of icons. Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments . LauraPhilly, you can always guarnatee me to provide all the Dex. It's sort of ridiculous, but oh well.
-
Carina - Aww, thank you! I'm sort of overwhelmed right now, so seeing your comments really brightens my day . JosieTash - Thanks so much for reading and quoting the bits you liked. I have to say that as soon as I heard Dallas referred to as 'The Virgin Slayer' I had wonder if it was a poor Buffy reference. Also, I can't help but pay out on Ruby and her own sexual exploits . soph1303 - Thanks for reading! elikell - Your comment is so sweet. Thank you so much. I just really adore Dex, okay? It seems reasonable that my last half a dozen fic have been about him .

TV Guide says that its also going to be 7.30, so I'm going to go with that. It'll be interesting -- I'll probably watch it online before it airs in Australia -- to see whether the episode is exactly the same when it goes again. I've seen/read so many spoilers about what's coming and I still don't feel like I'm ready. I'm way too invested in a fictional couple. Send help. Or don't. Whatever.
-
Wow. Thank you so much for all the sweet comments everyone. Here, have some Dex. I think he looks eerily similar to Joey Richter in these caps .

Help. I'm falling for Rory/Damian and I don't know what to do. I adore all his Irish-isms, particularly his green hat and adoration of all things American. And Rory asking Finn to be his friend, and sort of being a fanboy, was so great. Although, and I don't know if they are doing this on purpose or not, I thought the contradiction between Finn and Rory and Finn and Blaine is so bad. Finn is being a complete hypocrit and it's annoying me to no end. Finn is more than happy to befriend Rory and introduce him to the glee club, and yet when Blaine says or does anything, Finn completely shuts him down. If I was Blaine, I would totally be thinking about going back to Dalton. That being said, I adored Last Friday Night. It was fun and silly and spontaneous and everything I want in New Directions numbers. One thing Glee has always been good at is calling people out on their crap. So, Santana's rant to Finn about being jealous of Blaine and wanting to kick him straight in the warblers was 100% accurate. But what I didn't like, was then following that up by having Brittany say that Finn was being a bully, when Santana makes a name for herself by tearing people down and insulting them. *sigh* Oh well, you win some, you lose some. But next week. NEXT WEEK. I can hardly contain my anticipation. And the 8.30 timeslot is back which gives me high hopes that the Australian producers/distributors/whoever won't edit the crap out of the episode. I want everything, dammit.
-
I tried, but I just couldn't resist . Thanks for reading.

^ There was just an ad on during Junior Masterchef that showed a small part of Last Friday Night. It also had the 7.30pm timeslot. (I'll be curious to see whether they push back the time for episode 5, given some of the content.)

Thanks so much for all the comments for this story. Again, it was just to satisfy my own wants, so it's so exciting to see people reading and liking it.

Don't apologise, there is honestly no obligation to comment on anything of mine. But thank you so much for taking the time to read and leave a post . Last part coming up momentarily.
