When coming back from the shower block, Ash hears Josh’s phone ringing, and goes to investigate. He stumbles upon Josh, and, unable to revive him, calls Andy. Andy rushes to the caravan park, where he finds a crowd has already gathered around Josh as he’s being loaded into an ambulance.

As they ride together to the hospital, Dr Griffin tells Andy that Josh’s situation is very serious. He’ll need surgery, but there are no guarantees. Later, when Leah and Evie arrive at the hospital, Andy takes his anger out on Evie, blaming her for what happened. As Evie runs off, Leah goes after her, reassuring her that Andy doesn’t actually blame her.

Dr Griffin lets Andy know that Josh is out of surgery, having had the pressure on his brain relieved, but he’s still unconscious and may never recover. She asks him whether Josh has ever thought about organ donation, causing Andy to lose it and shout that it’s up to her to keep him alive. When he runs into Hannah in the hallway, she tries to reassure him, as he confesses he’s feeling helpless. Later, he apologises to both Hannah and Dr Griffin, and goes to see Josh in ICU. Overwhelmed by the myriad machines Josh is plugged into, he takes Josh’s hand and tells him to hold on.

Hannah and Chris are on the beach together, talking about love, when Chris tells her that he loves her! Hannah, taken by surprise, replies with an awkward “thank you” and rushes off for work, leaving Chris thinking he’s messed things up.

When Hannah confides in Phoebe, Phoebe thinks it’s a good thing, but she laughs when Hannah tells her how she replied, and they talk about how Hannah isn’t ready to say “I love you” back.

Meanwhile, Chris confides in Irene. She tries to reassure him that all will be fine, but he wonders if there’s a way he can take things back.

Phoebe stops by Ricky’s place to collect her keys, and Risky asks her if she’s heard from Kat. Phoebe asks her about her and Nate, and Ricky explains that the two of them want to be together. However, Phoebe doesn’t want Kat to get hurt, so asks Ricky to think hard about whether she’s sure before they do anything.

Later, at Angelo’s, Ash tells Ricky that Phoebe told him about her and Nate. He asks her how serious she is about Nate, and does everything he can to put her off.

In the night, Ricky tells Phoebe that Ash had confronted her about her and Nate. Phoebe apologises for telling Ash, but Ricky is okay, telling her that he made some good points. She feels as though maybe it’s time to move on.

Back at the caravan, Ash types out an email… “Brax we need to talk about Ricky”!
