10 Coronation Street Spoilers for Next Week – 22nd to 25th June
Next week on Coronation Street, Theo’s killer is finally revealed, Kit and Sarah’s dinner party ends in disaster, and will Ryan be Jodie’s next victim?
Note: Due to FIFA World Cup coverage, Corrie will air a double episode on Monday, a single episode on Tuesday, and a double episode on Thursday. There’ll be no episodes on Wednesday or Friday.
1) Kit and Maria plan an awkward showdown
Kit (Jacob Roberts) grows suspicious of Sarah (Tina O’Brien) and Gary (Mikey North) next week, as a planned date night turns into a much more uncomfortable evening.
At the start of the week, viewers are shown a flashforward to the aftermath of the night ahead, with broken glass, an overturned chair and blood across the tablecloth at Kit and Sarah’s Redbank flat.
Back in the present, Kit reminds Sarah about their date night and suggests they go food shopping together at lunchtime. When Sarah later cancels their plans by text, Brody (Ryan Mulvey) teases Kit that she must have had a better offer.
Maria (Samia Longchambon) overhears the comment, giving her more reason to question what’s been going on.

ITV
“Maria’s mindset is literally just thinking that Sarah and Gary are having an affair,” Samia tells us. “She’s known for a few weeks that something is definitely not right between her and Gary.”

ITV
“She’s been clocking these little sneaky conversations he’s been having with Sarah, and she’s put two and two together. She’s just convinced that they must be sleeping together.”
Kit also has his own reasons to be wary. He’s been watching Gary closely as part of Theo’s (James Cartwright) murder investigation, while Sarah has found herself drawn into Gary’s anxiety over questions about his movements on the night Theo died.

ITV
When Kit spots Sarah leaving the builders’ yard, his suspicions grow further. Later, he catches Sarah whispering to Gary, leaving him with even more to think about.
At the Rovers, Sarah tries to keep the evening low-key by inviting Todd (Gareth Pierce) and Summer (Harriet Bibby) to join her and Kit for dinner. Kit is disappointed that their date night has been expanded, but the situation soon takes another turn.

ITV
After seeing Sarah and Gary whispering to each other again, Kit stirs things up by suggesting that Gary and Maria should come along too. Gary and Sarah are both thrown by the invitation, while Maria accepts before either of them can stop her.
Whilst Kit’s mind is on the investigation, the invitation offers Maria a chance to confront the two people she believes have been lying to her.
With Kit suspicious, Maria determined to have it out, and Gary and Sarah rattled, the gathering is unlikely to stay civil for long…
2) Secrets spill over at dinner
That evening, Todd, Summer, Gary and Maria arrive at Kit and Sarah’s flat, with the tension already clear before anyone has sat down.

ITV

ITV
Maria wastes little time making her feelings known, aiming a series of pointed comments at Sarah as the evening gets under way.
“She just lets rip at Sarah,” Samia laughs. “Everything she’s been scared of saying for the last few weeks just comes out after a sip of wine—it doesn’t even take much wine!”

ITV
Kit is also watching closely, trying to get Gary on his own and making remarks about how easily people can lie.

ITV
The meal eventually reaches breaking point when Maria raises a toast and announces to the guests that Gary and Sarah have been having an affair!
“She’s relieved to finally just get it off her chest because it’s been building up for so long,” Samia reveals. “She’s also incredibly angry at them both because she thinks they’ve been pulling the wool over her and Kit’s eyes.”

ITV
“But towards the end of the dinner party, you see that she’s just really hurt. Beneath it all, she’s actually a heartbroken woman who thinks she’s lost her man.”

ITV

ITV
The night then descends into chaos, leading back to the flashforward glimpsed at the start of the episode—with broken glass, an upended chair and blood splattered across the table.
How does Kit and Sarah’s dinner party end in such disaster?
3) Theo’s killer is unmasked
Maria’s confrontation is only the start, however, as the episode then reveals the truth about Theo’s death through a series of flashbacks.

ITV/EverySoap
By the end of the night, viewers will finally learn who killed Theo on that fateful night back in April.

ITV
“I feel like the viewers have been so patient with this whole whodunnit storyline for months,” Samia adds. “I think they’ll be incredibly excited to finally see who the murderer is. It will definitely have been worth the wait because I don’t think many people suspect who actually did it…”
4) Todd searches for answers
After the dinner party, the fallout spreads across the week as the people involved are left to deal with what has been said and revealed.
Maria gives Gary the cold shoulder, whilst Sarah is confronted with another complication when she finds a ring box in Kit’s bag.

ITV
Before she can take in what it might mean, Kit suddenly appears, leaving Sarah caught on the spot.
Viewers know that Kit has been planning to propose to Sarah, but how will he react to Sarah finding the ring following the previous night’s events?

ITV
Todd also remains unsettled by what happened at the dinner party. He calls to see Sarah and admits that he suspects there is more to the situation with her and Gary than either of them has explained.
Later, Gary tries to put Kit on the back foot by reminding him that suspicion isn’t the same as proof, and that he has no evidence to suggest that he was responsible for Theo’s death. He also insists to Todd that Maria’s affair theory is wrong, claiming that Kit’s real problem is jealousy over Sarah trusting him.

ITV
The explanation doesn’t answer what’s been troubling Todd. Still searching for clarity over Theo’s death, he asks Sarah whether Gary knows something else about what happened that night.

ITV
As the week continues, an increasingly strained Todd turns to George (Tony Maudsley) for support. He breaks down and admits he has never felt so lonely, prompting George and Christina (Amy Robbins) to urge him to move back in with them at No.11.
5) Has Sarah uncovered her attacker?
Sarah also has a difficult night drowning her sorrows at the Rovers, where Nick (Ben Price) and David (Jack P Shepherd) again become concerned after seeing how much she has had to drink.
Jodie (Olivia Frances-Brown) puts Sarah’s behaviour down to the trauma of her attack at No.8—an incident that Jodie herself was responsible for—but her attempt to explain things only raises a fresh question.

ITV
When Jodie mentions that David the dog was barking at the time, Sarah immediately realises that something doesn’t add up… how does Jodie know a detail from the night of the attack?

ITV

ITV
Will Sarah finally realise the identity of her attacker?
6) Ronnie steps into Fiona’s firing line
Elsewhere on the cobbles, Carl (Jonathan Howard) is still under pressure over the missing gun.

ITV
Carl recently agreed to do another dodgy job for Fiona (Sara Poyzer), only to find himself in possession of a gun. After the weapon caused panic during a confrontation with Kevin (Michael Le Vell) at the garage, Carl later disposed of it by leaving the package where Fiona had instructed him to.
What Carl didn’t realise was that Jodie had seen him. Spotting the opportunity to cause more mischief, she retrieved the package herself, leaving Carl unable to explain where the gun had gone when Fiona later cornered him.

ITV
With Debbie (Sue Devaney) already frightened by the situation, Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) decides to meet Fiona himself in an attempt to stop things from escalating any further.

ITV
Ronnie explains that he doesn’t know where the gun is, but offers to pay Fiona off for Debbie’s sake. Fiona refuses the money and makes it clear that Ronnie can repay her in another way instead, leaving him shaken.

ITV
Back at home, Ronnie tells Debbie that he has dealt with Fiona and that she won’t be bothering them again. Once Debbie heads for a rest, Ronnie admits the truth to Carl.

ITV
What does Fiona want from Ronnie—and can they find a way to keep Debbie out of the fallout?
7) Roy’s visit to Sam takes an awkward turn
Meanwhile, Sam (Jude Riordan) faces a visit from Roy (David Neilson), as he continues to receive treatment in the hospital.
Recent episodes saw Sam sectioned for his own safety, after his mental health reached crisis point and he attacked Roy in the café. Doctors later indicated that he was likely to be suffering from schizophrenia, with Nick struggling to process what was happening to his son.

ITV

ITV
Since then, Sam has started to understand that Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) was not really trying to kill him, and that the malevolent version of Roy he kept seeing was imaginary.
However, he has also worried about whether his medication could affect the way his brain works, particularly when it comes to chess and maths.

ITV
After realising that the Roy he saw the previous night in hospital was not real, Sam asked Nick whether the real Roy could come and visit him.
Next week, Roy does just that, assuring Sam that the incident in the café is forgotten.

ITV
When Roy then suggests a game of chess, Nick is encouraged to see Sam apparently engaging with something familiar. But the game takes a difficult turn when Sam makes an uncharacteristic mistake, allowing Roy to easily win the game.

ITV
As Nick watches Sam’s reaction to the move, he’s left worried all over again.
8) Will is caught in Megan’s web again
Over at the Rovers, Will is again caught between his family and Megan (Beth Nixon), as the case against her moves closer to court.
Megan groomed Will whilst she was his athletics coach, with Will believing that they were in love and could have a future together.

ITV
After stealing £2,000 from the Rovers safe, Will had planned to meet her at the airport so they could start again in France.
Tim (Joe Duttine) realised something was wrong during the cab journey and managed to get through to him, drawing on his own teenage experience with Trisha (Anita Booth). Instead of taking Will to the airport, Tim drove him to the police station, where Will went inside and reported Megan.

ITV
Although Will rejected later attempts by Megan to maintain contact, it was revealed this week that Will has started talking to her again via his games console.

ITV
Next week, Ben (Aaron McCusker), Eva (Catherine Tyldesley), Maggie (Pauline McLynn) and Melanie (Cindy Humphrey) argue over whether Will should attend court in person or give evidence by video link.
As the adults talk over him, Will slips out and admits to Tim that no one has even asked what he wants to do.

ITV
Tim takes Will back to the Rovers and tells the family that they need to listen to Will himself.

ITV
But later in the week, Megan’s contact with Will is exposed when Susie (Aurora Bradshaw) turns on his games console and selects a player called Minimog16.
Megan’s voice suddenly comes through the headset, but she quickly disconnects once Susie makes herself known. After Susie tells Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) what has happened, he and Maggie rush into the back room and find Will chatting on his headset.

ITV

ITV
Ollie warns Will that Megan is still trying to manipulate him, especially now that the trial is only days away.

ITV

ITV
Will Megan succeed in her plot to draw Will back in again?
9) Asha and Nina plan their next move
Elsewhere, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) and Nina (Mollie Gallagher) start looking ahead to a possible new home together.
When Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) offers Nina, Asha and Summer some money to redecorate Todd and Theo’s old flat above the shop, Asha sees a bigger opportunity. Rather than simply freshening the place up, she suggests that she could rent it herself.
Dev is quick to point out that Asha can’t afford to take the flat on alone, but Nina then offers a solution by saying she could move in with her.

ITV
Later in the week, Dev realises that Asha was serious about leaving home, leaving him disappointed by the thought of her moving out of No.7. Nina, meanwhile, faces a difficult conversation of her own as she wonders how to tell Roy about her plans.

ITV
Summer also throws herself into helping her friends settle in. After everything she has been through, she joins Amy (Elle Mulvaney) in helping Asha and Nina unpack, and reveals that she has brought a stack of house-warming gifts.
The girls are touched when Summer then offers to take them all out for dinner, explaining that she can’t think of a better way to spend the inheritance money from Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) than on her friends.
10) Will Ryan be Jodie’s next victim?
Also next week, Jodie sets her sights on yet another Weatherfield resident, because the chaos she’s caused so far is apparently not enough to be getting on with.
Since arriving back in Shona’s (Julia Goulding) life, Jodie has repeatedly caused trouble for the Platts, with her fixation on David (Jack P Shepherd) adding more strain to an already difficult time for the family.

ITV
Next week, Jodie is landed with the task of making a Tin Man costume for Harry’s (Joshua Leavy) school play. As she gets to work, she also scrolls through a dating app, where one profile catches her eye.
Later in the week, Jodie announces that she has a date. When David lets slip that he’s meeting Nick (Ben Price) at the bistro, Jodie quickly sees an opportunity.
She arranges to meet her date, who turns out to be Ryan (Ryan Prescott), at the bistro too, making sure David will be there to see it.

ITV
Once David arrives, Jodie switches on the charm with Ryan, clearly hoping to make him jealous.

ITV

ITV
Will she succeed, and make Ryan her latest pawn in the process?
