Four past stars of Home and Away have been nominated for the 2013 Australians in Film (AiF) Heath Ledger Scholarship. Elizabeth Blackmore (Shandi Palmer), Andrew Hazzard (Kieran Monroe), Kate Jenkinson (Mackenzie Watson) and Bobby Morley (Drew Curtis) are some of the fifteen finalists announced for the prestigious award.

Congratulations to all the nominees but Ashleigh Cummings better win this hands down and I say hands down. She's right now in a manner of speaking the top prospect as far as her contemporaries go at having a chance to crack the US market in a big way with her "Puberty Blues" castmates Charlotte Best and Isabelle Cornish not far behind.

Andrew Lees also had a bit part on Home and Away - he was Mattie's room mate at the uni in Perth that Ric mistakenly thought she was cheating on him with - about 4 eps in 2008
