Jen Posted May 1, 2011 Report Share Posted May 1, 2011 I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but if you go into your profile then go to Settings you can change your options. If you set "Notification Options" New Friends to 'Notify via Email' when someone adds you as a friend. If you set "Moderation Options" New Friends to 'Enabled - Only when I approve them' you need to approve all friend requests. For me, this is how I keep track of who has asked to friend me, otherwise I don't know when people do, and then I feel like I'm ignoring them if I don't reply. I just think the Friends option here is complicated and would be better just with a Facebook friend request option instead of it being 'A friends B so B must friend A'- why not make it a one click option rather than fiddling about?
