I loved how both Charlie AND Gina were holding Ruby's hands whilst they waited for the verdict, Ruby needed them around her . I can understand Charlie's resiliantness about Ruby and the abortion, but at the same time, it is Ruby's decision and Charlie will just have to support that and be there for Ruby (like she always is ) I had to at: Quote “Are you sure you should be drinking that?” Angelo asked as he put his hand on top of Charlie’s, stopping her from pouring the coffee. “Why shouldn’t I be?” Charlie asked “Well you’re pumping your milk for Chloe. Doesn’t caffeine like affect it or something?” Angelo asked “I can have one cup” Charlie said as she batted Angelo’s and away with her other hand. “Charlie, are you sure…” “Angelo” Charlie sighed “I am having a cup of coffee. I haven’t had one in almost 6 months. I need a cup of coffee” Charlie said before she started to pour herself a cup. Angelo sighed lightly as he shook his head. “Have half a cup then” Angelo said as he took the coffee pot from Charlie, stopping her pouring any further. Charlie shook her head at her husband as she poured some milk into her cup. Six months without coffee! lol Can't wait for the next update Danni and see how the conversation between Gina and Ruby about the baby goes Quote

For someone who has lost a relative like Gina and Ruby have, it doesn't matter how long the murderer will get as it'll probably never be long enough in their opinion and I can totally understand it. I also feel for Ruby. As if the situation wasn't bad enough, she also has to deal with the fact she's pregnant with Jay's child. I have no idea what she should do. I can see both Angelo/Morag and Charlie's point of views. Either way, it's going to be a very tough decision for Ruby. I like the bit with Gina and Ruby. Gina is right. Xavier would want Ruby to move on and settle down with somebody else. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. More please. Quote

carywary Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Wow Danni you wrote that so well, I'm really glad you decided to do a scene in the court. Poor Gina and Ruby, it must have been so hard for them to cope, and although it wasn't the best time for Gina to find out about the baby, it was probably easier on Ruby to blurt it out rather than trying to keep it a secret for longer or telling them all individually and just prolonging the pain. Loved the bit with changelo and the coffee, when he stopped her from pouring it I had to laugh it was nice that you put some light entertainment in this chapter too! I hope Charlie isn't going to be mad at Angelo now, but none of them should influence Ruby's decision, although if she does decide to keep it she will need to talk to them cos she can't do it alone. carywary Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Oh Gina was harsh, it was expected but she went way over the top and she's just made it a hundred times harder for Ruby although Ruby shouldn't have compared Angelo and Jay Ruby's right, it's not the baby's fault, that's my attitude towards the situation. Lovely chuby moment I feel a bit sorry for Angelo and Morag, Charlie shouldn't have given away their feelings without letting Ruby talk to them cos now they're being shut out. Awk bless Ava and Ben not wanting to go to the hospital, and the baking..so cute! I think the chat with Nic and Ruby was really nice, I'm sure she'll be a really good friend whatever Ruby decides to do. I get why Gina would be like she was, but she should have spoken/handled the situation a little better. I loved how you argued both sides of the situation: the pro's and the cons. I hope Gina apologises to Ruby or is a little more understanding on Ruby's part. As Ruby said, its not the baby's fault. And I thought Ruby making the connection between her and Ava, Ben and Chloe to Cal and the baby. That was a nice touch. CHUBY Nicole is such a great friend to Ruby, and hopefully is there for Ruby when Ruby has made/reached a decision on what she is going to do. I love their friendships, its sweet. Ava and Ben! A brief part but still Benny boy not wanting to go to the hospital to see Chloe; Hope he does soon though. And Ava! Bless her, still scared over what happened before. Barbara Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Great update! I agree with the other readers: Gina was harsh. I understand she wants nothing to do with Jay but it's not Ruby's fault. Ruby slept with him before she even knew about Jay being Xavier's killer. Gina seemed fine with Ruby moving on and dating so I'm a bit surprised she was so harsh about the pregnancy but maybe she just reacted that way because of what Jay did to Xavier. If he hadn't killed her son, she may have been more understanding. Poor Ruby! She really doesn't know what to do. Even though almost everyone thinks she should have an abortion, she isn't sure about that. Like she said, the baby isn't to blame. Maybe adoption could be another option: she wouldn't be ending the baby's life but she also wouldn't have to see how much the baby looks like his father and be reminded of him and what he did every single day. But that would still mean she'd have to carry his baby. It looks like the kids aren't ready to go back to the hospital, which is understandable. Hopefully, Chloe will get better and be able to go home really soon. More please. Quote

I can understand Angelo and Morag's reaction but it's Ruby's decision and not theirs. Chapter 84 - Poor Ruby Gina was so harsh towards her. I'm glad Charlie is supporting Ruby. I hope Ruby does what she thinks is right. Looking forward to the next chapter. Quote
