To All the Photoshop Buffs!

I haven't touched Photoshop for a long time and I have no idea how I would go about doing this.

Basically, I have to make the guy on the left hand side visible as well as not looking like a ghost.

Here is the picture... and if you want, I can email you the picture.

If anyone could help, that would be fantastic!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, maybe if someone was up to a challenge???

I have to do it for my father, it's a really old photo of my great uncle when he was a kid, so it's fairly old. Dad wanted me to touch it up for him, but I have nowhere to begin!

I suppose even if someone knows of a tutorial, I'd be happy with that.

Big ask, I know, but I thought, if anyone was to know, it'd be here.
