Irene really has got 'Mug' written on her forehead sadly and she has been incredibly selfish but Leah was the same with tinpot Valerie, she and Bronte are both wasters, but at least Leah didn't endanger their entire livelihoods. I'm glad Mali did call Mac out though, if the shoe had been on the other foot and it'd been Rose or Iluka in their at Dean's hand, Mac would've been the first to wheedle around Mali all hair twirling and lip trembling begging for a lie. Hypocrisy shows up at the worst moments.

I think it's fairly new in the context of finance but in hairdressing, especially blue ones seem to have been around forever, hehe!

Ah, the Bay classic! H&Alover, sadly for me he's always been a bit wooden and bland, I guess he's supposed to be that dramatic contrast to Rose who's a doer. I must admit when he first arrived he did give me closeted LGB vibes though I know that isn't H&A's bag per se but I wondered if that was going to be his 'mark', a bit like Marilyn is necasarily a dynamic character either and borders on irritating but is oftn saved by the 'lovable ditz' bit if you get my drift. Did the love the drama of the Allens, great to see a female boss too but agree very much that it would've had more impact if the wounded parties, both literally and figuratively, hadn't been Mac and Levi. I did feel sad for Mali in the sense of watching your loved one being dragged away knowing full well it's very likely the next you might see them is when no longer living, not easy. I know it's not good he's kept Rose in the dark on a relationship/moral level but maybe, in a roundabout way, he's done the right thing for her job-wise as it would soon be proved she wasn't in on it.

H&Alover, I just find Xander a bit pointless to be honest he gives nothing and his continuing patronising of Dana today is even more annoying. Kind of hoping Dana's just telling him what he wants to hear and she'll turn detective again soon. Did like her boyfriend exchange with Harper, typical sister comedy, hehe! Glad Tane's back, I know Harper's changed her mind but him stepping back is a good thing, another relationship is a bit early and also maybe assessing feelings in cold mundanity of everyday is a better way to begin, to make the same mistake twice would be silly as he did with Flick i.e. thinking with rocket rather than brain. Also his plan for the gym, if memory serves me though I may be wrong, I think Ari had similiar thoughts when they first started, giving second chances as he had had, it was nice to hear him mentioned actually.

Double ep catch up. The pot/kettle line with Eden and Felicity, bang on; Flick, you seriously do not get to judge the amount of hell you put people through. I do get why Eden wouldn't work at Salt, she'd happily happily avoid Mac in a work situation but Mac wouldn't let it go I think as she has her head so far up Levi's rear. "Oh Eden you've got to forgive Wittle Levi, he's so upset, we've only been in bed 23 hours straight today!' I loved the scene with John giving Dana flowers! She overplayed her hand with Bronte though, needs more evidence first, you have to think the way they do. I loathe Xander and the best of times but his patronising attitude with Dana got right on my nerves.

Go Imogen! Don't get why Levi was shocked or put out, he should be grateful he got it back, though I think she made a mistake giving Mac the rings...she should've sold them, the engagement ring would certainly have brought in a penny or two! Feel sorry for Irene, being a good person makes you vulnerable to the Brontes of this world but it does matter how many of them you meet, sometimes you don't learn a lesson which is a shame.

"Sorry Marilyn, my sister forgot her muzzle'. I nearly collapsed laughing at that line; Dana's whole tennage teasing of Harper showed the classic sibling thing which I thought was quie fun. As I've said before I think Harper would in some ways be a better match for Tane as they're on a similar wavelength. 'Demigod' is a pretty good description for his phsysicality he'd be an artist's dream to sketch. I'm glad Nelson had some morals but those scenes show the arts industry at it's most honest, literally everyone is dispensible, regardless of circumstance, money is the object no matter what.

H&Alover, I only said chaps as I was referring to both the lawyers, I knew our Marshall! Flick grousing in court about it being brought up reminded me of something my Nan told me, she worked for a legal firm; 'In court or out never volunteer more infomation than asked for.' No, I'm glad he fought for Tane, though I didn't condone him taking Poppy. My comments in regards to lawyers were just as a general, it's a big game of chess where they get paid either way. I'll admit the 'morning after' shirtless scenes and Tane in the suit inspired my ahem, shall we say more shallow feelings, hehe! I think he and Harper would make a good match, they both want security in a relationship and it strikes me that they both want to do things better for their lives going forward, I know it's been noted that Harper and Dana had a rough background and Tane maybe just wants a simple family life now, no drama (yes, I'm aware in Summer Bay that's nigh on impossible!). The smoking ceremony I thought was quite beautiful in its way, it fascinates me to see how other cultures view and deal with death/dying for some it seems to be seen almost as not exactly a positive but something of celebration of the soul journey as it were, like many Latin nations as well, whereas in other countries it can be very dark, the contrast is always interesting. I believe as well it's NAIDOC week (I know this was shown it Aus earlier in the year) but still a good opportunity for anyone to investigate further if they are curious too.

Re: Alf, I am glad though that he and Rose gave that ghoul what for though. I think sometimes also they move locations for continuting tributes to actually weed out the ghouls too.
-
I'm glad Felicity has finally admitted she did the wrong thing by lying; desperation is never the way to go about it and you will always be caught. The judge was giving me Morag vibes all the way! The two chaps playing the respective lawyers, especially the prosecution, showed the profession in it's true form; master manipulators and opportunistic gameplayers, very well done. As for the preview, Flick you are d-u-m-b, rule number one is; Never reveal private stuff to lawyers, admittedly they can and often do dig it up themselves, but still of course Marshall will use it, it's his job.
-
Tasteless ghouls, perfectly put; every time you get anything like that they appear, it's true. Don't blame Alf being piqued. Theo and Justin feeling weird about the surfing, I get that too not just for that weirdness of normality continuing but feeling out of place with your place if you like. It's familiar yet equally unfamiliar.
-
RR1, you're right about Holly but that said, with the other two I mentioned the threatening behaviour continued for another two years before things were changed. I did feel for Nelson, the stark realisation of it being caught on film, it's weird the things you think about but shock does that. Sidney's insane babbling was in it's own way chilling.Cash isn't necasarilly at fault, the police screwed up there by not informing the firm. It might sound crazy, it can be things as simple as tweets and such, hence why juries are told not to use it/tv if they are in big trials. We all knew it would either be Cash or Bree Remi went for, he's lashing out I think more because of the shock and violence at Stevie's death rather than any deep feeling as such. All hail Alf, he's the man for a crisis!

CaptainHulk & H&Alover, so true on all counts! It is really scary sometimes. Medea, I thought that too. The way they ran the whole shooting thing was really eerie but excellently done (strangely, I thought of the anniversary of the 7/7 attacks in London, that was yesterday and when Flick and Eden were on the phone trying to check on their loved ones, it's one of the scariest feelings I think), the fear behind it as well; I think the chap bleating was Stevie's phantom co-star, did love Alf putting him in his place, I'd have done the same. Loved the Tane scenes, Ethan able to use his skills for the stunt flip there. I can understand Bree's kind of fears in a way because people can lash out in highly emotive moments and Remi may well have 'blamed' her but, as a doctor, it's not a guarantee you can make to save someone's life. Cash's scene at the end I thought was actually quite sad and did give a jolt, yes he's trained to deal with things like that but he is only human and I don't think there could ever be enough training to stop you feeling at least something about it.

Re: Holly, it's all been in press this week about what the guy had planned...chilling.
-
It is scary how long ago it was but even more recent ones like Holly Willoughby and Rosie Marcel or Martin Shaw (the list is endless, in some ways), (even Kylie I believe); admittedly they thankfully didn't end fatally as threatened but certainly in Rosie's case it had lasting impacts. The fallout looks exciting in the way it's been filmed.

I enjoyed taiaha scene purely because I'm glad at any time to see any kind of Maori culture, actually any cultures than my own, every day's an education! As much as I have loathed Stevie, I thought the scene were well shot (pun not intended) and it does give you that sense of fear; equally, I think the fact they brought the stalker back is actually far more truthful, especially for people who work in TV/film it's sadly a very real threat often as, like with soaps, some 'fans' can't seperate fact from fiction and those lines become so blurred that chaos can ensue.

H&Alover, I think although flirting would be frowned upon I think it was actually the fact Kirby took the guy's number with the intention of a date, that's a different boundary in a way. I'm glad Flick has finally climbed down from her high horse and admitted that she is the same, well done Xander again it's true she and Mac don't actually need to be friends but as long as they can be sensible, Salt will do well. Levi...aww diddums is your widdle ego a bit dented? You get what you deserve honey, hehe! He made me fall about barking at Eden...has he actually forgotten she disowned him and he chased the contact when he arrived?

I'm glad Mali did put his foot down, especially the dating thing as as a teacher of any sort, regardless of the age of the pupil you have to keep professional distance and I think Kirby's work ethic needs improving a little, hopefully she'll learn! The Cash/Stevie/shower moment in the previous ep definitely gave me early Felicity disaster zone vibes, I think he did threaten her with something similar once upon a time during one of drunken tantrums. I'm glad Xander stood up for himself, something I never thought I'd say, both the girls are liars and selfish and hurt people but neither want to admit it, let them catfight it out on their own. The staff are lax and unprofessionial because they are, infantile as it is but it is a culture.

No, I agree about the hospital thing re: Remi hospital, wrong thing right reason but Bree didn't see it that way sadly. Yes, the redhead thing, soaps seem to do the same with blondes they're usually either dumb and annoying or b****y, brunette can be either nice or psychotic no middle ground, seems to be an unwritten soap lore, hehe!

Stevie guess what...you ain't that special, leave Cash alone! To be fair to Cash though, he probably sees alot of Early Bay Flick in her hence his 'ultra-babysitting mode', Stevie's arrogance is astounding though 'I moved the movie for you Eden so I should get your boyfriend all to myself' Stevie has no boundaries. . Re: Bree and Remi; he lied about the bike, he lied about hospital too so, more than one lie so I think the bike itself was merely a straw as it were. I think Remi masculinity has taken a hit too, he thought Bree would never want anyone else; I'm glad he put Stevie in her place, she needed it. Her pouting tantrum with Cash next morning proves that point as, because she wasn't the centre of attention, she would make sure she was. I liked the 'boys night' scene it's great to see those easy going friendships, no-one has to be anything to have fun.

Seems Alf's prediction wasn't entirely wrong, do feel for Mali in that respect as his business is being adversely affected and that could have far reaching consequences in future. With the Justin/Theo study part was quite sweet really, I think had Theo come into this under normal circumstances, it's what Justin would've done anyways. I kind of like the 'heir apparent pride', fingers crossed Theo passes for all their sakes, it'd be nice to see the garage as a family business. I think Tane has hit a life wall and those are horrible moments; Felicity needs to stay away, as I think subconciously she's still working on the 'if I'm nice to him, he'll have me back' and, yes, she might care about him but...boundaries, woman! He loves and hates you in equal measure right now and he's got to decide if he wants you in his life later on, not you. Equally Harper doing a Cash and cooing over her wasn't right either, her deception started this and maybe she does need to feel some guilt so with the next guy she goes down that route with, if there is one, she won't make the same mistake again and neither would Tane if he stays free.
