tropical day here today, overnight temp was 25C, got to 30C today with cloud and rain and was very humid. More of the same to come next week...

Summers are generally quite crap here aswell. Atleast today its warm before it turns to crap on the weekend as per usual.

just came back from my holiday staying on a houseboat in Renmark, South Australia. Temp was around 36-38 degrees every day with not a single cloud seen for the entire 5 days. this morning in Melbourne is a humid 33 degrees with 43 forecast

extreme depressing cold and cloud. Going to Mildura for the next week though - 40 degrees and sun forecast everyday!

Severe thunderstorms and lightning put a dampener on NYE celebrations in Melbourne yesterday....naturally.... and we are on our second round of lightning and thunderstorm for tonight....not to mention its pissing hail. Both New Years Eve and New Years day there have been thunderstorms here.

got pasted by a massive thunderstorm today, absolutely started hosing it down and the lightning was directly overhead. A few shopping centres had roof collapses, trains and trams were struck by lightning and one girl near my place was also hit by lightning. got to 30 degrees today with tropical humidity and thick milky haze. Felt exactly like Cairns.
