End of Season Finales

At the end of each season, Seven takes Home and Away off air for the Australian summer, most probably for two reasons - to give the cast and crew a break from filming and also the fact that Australia's weather during December isn't compatible with sitting inside watching TV. So, in effort to keep the audience hooked, each episode usually ends with some major storyline in an effort to make sure everyone returns in January.
