Oncourt, he's a loudmouthed Aussie scrapper, who plays like a pugnacious blond pitbull. Off-court, Hewitt is much quieter, shying away from fashionable clubs and parties. Extremely close to his parents, who are virtually permanent fixtures on the tennis tour. Bec beware: any girl who wants to get close to Lleyton has to win the approval of his mum Cherilyn, first. Lleyton's ex, tennis star Kim Clijsters, is said to have found life with the Hewitts a wee bit claustrophobic. So how did they meet? Five years ago at an Australian charity event. But they only started dating in December 2004. From then on, the relationship has moved faster than a Hewitt forehand. The couple were engaged on February 1, then moved in to a ?2 million luxury home by the beach in Sydney. By May they'd announced that Bec was pregnant. They're getting married on July 21 and the baby's due in October. So what's Bec up to these days? She's quit her role as Hayley Lawson in Home And Away, her pop career's on hold and -- being pregnant -- she can't pose for any of the pin-ups that made readers of Australian FHM magazine vote her World's Sexiest Woman earlier this year. After the wedding, motherhood and interior decoration will take up most of her time. FOOTBALLERS' WIVES FACTOR: 5. Would feel right at home comparing fake tans with all the football gals. As his relationship with soapie star Bec Cartwright dominates the tabloids and blurs the line between reality and art, the feisty Hewitt clearly shapes as our best chance of bringing home some singles silverware in the time-honoured Grand Slam. One wonders if Bec will find a reason to escape Summer Bay and spend a couple of weeks in Yabby Creek (also known as the Hewitt box at Wimbledon), so we may see the next episode of their courtship played out on national TV, even if it isn't on your official Bec and Lley-ley station, the Seven Network.
