Summary: Mackenzie and Levi’s affair is still going on while Jasmine’s return shakes things up. Old loves are revisited and new ones are discovered and just when you think you might have things sorted everything changes. Who can you trust when maybe you can’t even trust yourself? This is the right choice and this is my story.

 

Chapter 1

 

Cash and Eden are on the beach

 

Cash: So how are things with Levi?

Eden: They are good. But I still feel like he’s lying to me.

Cash: What could he possibly be hiding?

Eden: I don’t know. But their is definitely something going on.

Cash: Your overthinking this.

Eden: Maybe…

Cash: Definitely. Let’s go back to mine. The house should be free.

Eden: You couldn’t of mentioned that before?

Cash: I am telling you now.

Cash gets up off the sand and pulls Eden up with him. They both start running off the beach towards the car park. Cash throws Eden the car keys.

Cash: Let’s go.

Eden: Don’t have to tell me twice.

Cash and Eden are just about to get into the car when Cash hears a voice calling his name. He turns around and faces his ex girlfriend Jasmine! He’s in shock she is here at all!

Jasmine: Hi Cash

 

Felicity/Cash’s place

 

Felicity: Tane stop!

Tane: No you betrayed me. We can’t go back. I am done.

Felicity: Don’t walk away. We can fix this.

Tane: Your never going to want what I want. I am sorry but we are done!

Felicity: No you can’t leave. I am pregnant ok. I am pregnant!

Tane: What?

Felicity: I found out this morning.

Tane: So that night when we hooked up?

Felicity: Yeah it’s yours. We are having a baby. We can be the family you have always wanted. We can get back together.

Tane: I need time to think. Just don’t follow me…

Tane bails from the house

 

Lyric’s house

 

Remi and Eden are taking

 

Eden: So you and Bree are over?

Remi: No let’s talk about Cash’s ex being back in town and you leaving them alone together!

Eden: What was I supposed to do? And he wanted to go with her!

Remi: Guess they have unfinished business.

Eden: I guess so. But back to Bree?

Remi: Nope!

Eden: What happened?

Remi: She wanted me to choose between her and the bike. And I choose the bike end of story.

Eden: You love her Rem…

Remi: So? It doesn’t matter anymore. We are done.

Eden: Are you sure?

Remi: I am sure.

Eden: Then I am sorry.

Remi: Want to go out tonight? Let’s go to the club in Yabbie creek.

Eden: Ok. I will call Theo and Kirby see if they want to come.

Remi: Ok let’s do it.

 

The farm house

 

Levi and Mackenzie are kissing

 

Levi: I have missed you. I wish I could be here all the time

Mackenzie: I wish you could too

A knock at the door scares them and Mackenzie pushes Levi into her room before going to open the door. Mackenzie is surprised to find Felicity on her doorstep but more importantly she is in tears!

Mackenzie: Felicity what’s wrong?

Felicity: I’m pregnant

Mackenzie: What? Is it Tane’s?

Felicity: Of course who else. When we hooked up.

Mackenzie: Oh yes I remember now. Does Tane know?

Felicity: Yes he ran off. Please Mackenzie help me find him!

Mackenzie: Ok I will just let me make a quick phone call.

Felicity: No we need to go now.

Mackenzie: Let me go get my phone then. It’s in my room.

Felicity: No I will get it.

Mackenzie: No Felicity wait.

Felicity moves towards the bedroom door and is just about to open it…

Chapter 2

 

The farm house

 

Felicity is just about to open the door when her phone starts ringing she goes to answer it and Mackenzie goes into her room. She grabs her phone and shares a quick goodbye kiss with Levi before shutting the door. Felicity tells Mackenzie they need to go now.

 

Mackenzie: Why who was on the phone?

Felicity: Jasmine

Mackenzie: Jasmine? Cash’s ex? Your nearly sister in law? Our friend. That Jasmine?

Felicity: Yep one and the same

Mackenzie: She’s back in town?

Felicity: Yep

Mackenzie: Why?

Felicity: For my brother I guess

Mackenzie: What about Eden?

Felicity: It’s his choice. It’s none of my business.

Mackenzie: You and Jasmine were really close. She was like a sister to you.

Felicity: She was

Mackenzie: But Eden is your best friend

Felicity: Yeah she is.

Mackenzie: So?

Felicity: I just want my brother to be happy either way

Mackenzie: Does Cash still have the ring?

Felicity: No he sold it

Mackenzie: Then maybe he has moved on

Felicity: He really loved her. Enough to buy her a ring. I have never seen him happier

Mackenzie: You think they will get back together?

Felicity: Maybe. I don’t know…

Mackenzie: So wait why did she call you?

Felicity: Tane is with them

Mackenzie: Well at least we know where he is. Let’s go find them all

Felicity: Yes let’s go

 

Salt

 

Cash: Why are you here?

Tane: Your sister

Cash: What did she do now?

Tane: She’s pregnant!

Cash: What?!

Jasmine: What?!

Tane: I am not joking

Cash: For real?

Tane: She showed me the test

Cash: So what does that mean for you two?

Tane: I don’t know. I can’t think straight right now.

Cash: That’s understandable

Jasmine: Why did you and Felicity break up?

Tane: She lied about wanting a kid with me

Jasmine: But now you guys are having a kid? Right?

Tane: Correct

Jasmine: So the problem solved itself so just fix your marriage and be happy

Tane: Like it’s that easy

Jasmine: If two people want the same things in life then it really is that easy

Tane: Why are you back here anyway? Didn’t you dump Cash?

Jasmine: Yeah and that was my mistake. I am here to fix it

Cash: Wait you want us to try again?

Jasmine: Yes I do. That’s why I am here.

Tane: I’ll make you two a deal. I’ll sort things out with Felicity when you two do the same!

Jasmine: What?!

Cash: What?!

Tane: You keep taking about this happy ending that’s supposed to happen. Well this is your chance to make it happen. See you later

Tane leaves

Jasmine: Did that just happen?

Cash: I think so. I could be dreaming though

Jasmine: You dream about me?

Cash: Yeah I still do sometimes.

Jasmine: And think about me?

Cash: Yep

Jasmine: I still love you

Cash: I still love you too. But in the words of Tane. That doesn’t fix everything

Jasmine: Well maybe it should!

Cash: You left me!

Jasmine: I am sorry. I made a mistake.

Cash: How can I forgive you?

Jasmine: How can I prove to you I won’t leave you again?

Cash: I don’t know.

Jasmine: Cash just hear me out…

Cash: Can we really just forget the past and move forward now?

Jasmine: I love you so much. And I know you love me too.

Cash: I did. So much. I brought a ring for you!

Jasmine: You did?

Cash: I was going to propose when you came home but you never did.

Jasmine: I didn’t know!

Cash: I nearly died!

Jasmine: I heard!

Cash: You heard but you didn’t come?!

Jasmine: I should have. I am so sorry.

Cash: You left me here heartbroken about a future that could never be.

Jasmine: Let’s make that future happen right now. Forgive me…

Felicity arrives at Salt

Felicity: Where is Tane?

Cash: Yeah about that…

Jasmine: Well you see…

Cash: He walked out.

Jasmine: Yeah we don’t know where he went.

Felicity: We’ll what did he say?

Cash: He said that he needed time to think…

Jasmine: And he said if we get back together so will you two!

Felicity: What?!

Cash: Yeah he really did say that.

Felicity: So this happy endings thing? It’s going to happen for both of us right?

Jasmine: That’s up to your brother

 

Yabbie Creek

 

Theo, Kirby, Remi, Eden are all having fun at the gig

 

Remi: You heard from Cash?

Eden: Nope

Remi: And you aren’t worried or concerned about that?

Eden: It’ll be fine.

Remi: Are you sure?

Eden: Everything will work out the way it’s supposed to. I have faith in that.

Remi: I hope your right.

Eden: I am always right. Let’s dance.

Kirby and Theo are getting drinks from the bar

Kirby: Do you ever think about us?

Theo: Of course I do. I did love you once.

Kirby: But not anymore?

Theo: We we’re good while we lasted but I don’t think we can go back.

Kirby: Why not?

Theo: The last few weeks/months of our relationship all we did was fight.

Kirby: Yeah I remember.

Theo: So why put ourselves though that again?

Kirby: To do things differently? Change things for the better? Their was a time when we were happy right?

Theo: I did love you. A lot.

Kirby: Me too.

Theo: But we are friends now. Good friends. Let’s not mess with that.

Kirby: We we’re happy though…

Theo: How can we go back?

Kirby: Maybe we can’t. But we can go forward. Build a new future?

Theo: If we break up the band again?

Kirby: We won’t. We will make things work this time.

Theo: If your sure?

Kirby: I am.

Theo: Ok we can try.

Kirby and Theo kiss

Remi and Eden are still dancing when Eden notices Theo and Kirby kissing!

Eden: Rem look!

Remi looks over at them too

Remi: Oh ffs

Eden: Really again?

Remi: If they break up again?!

Eden: We won’t let that happen.

Remi: You mean they won’t!

Eden: Yes.

Remi: They better not.

Eden: Band meetings are going to be fun.

Remi: Just like before 2 vs 2.

Eden: We will sort things out.

Remi: Yeah the band is too important.

Eden: Yes it is.

Remi: Should be bail and leave them alone?

Eden: Yeah let’s go home.

 

Lyrik’s house

 

Remi and Eden arrive home to find Cash waiting for them. Remi leaves them too and goes to his room.

 

Eden kisses Cash

Eden: Hey babe. You ok?

Cash: We need to talk!
